The first braids of the game is always monstrously strong, shock the table and draw three is incredibly powerful
Teysa and Braids were so amazing this game! Great showing!
Hoping Braids wins, got a stained glass foil of her and she’s so much fun to play. Nothing like giving me opponents the illusion of choice.
She is such an advantage engine, and deceptively so. Opponents don't even realize how gross of a tax it is until it's too late, and you've drawn 6 cards already.
@@michaelbrauner8726 3 cards and 6 damage*
Not nitpicking, great video has always, 3:53 Smuggler and Braids triggers go to the stack, Maxine active player, Marie non-active player, i believe Marie triggers resolves first and she doesn't draw from that
Incorrect. Marie didn't draw an extra card off of Smuggler's Share here, she got a treasure because Maxime had sacrificed Burnished Hart to have 2 additional lands enter the battlefield during his main phase. Everything was done correctly here. You were, however, right that the active player - non active player trigger rules prevented Marie from a bunch of extra card draws because Smuggler's Share was already passed its trigger timing every time Maxime drew extra cards off of Braid's ability.
1:47 the basicest land followed by the blingest sol ring🤣
Someone suggested me to put Braids into my Greyfax deck, because if I sacrifice Clues to her, others are gonna let me draw 9 times out of 10. She is disgustingly good.
The table should've waited for Marie to declare the targets for both Lich triggers before they responded to them.
Muddstah, you forgot to use Braids for stonks when you stole her
Mud just isn't a good player. He forgets all his rustic study triggers too.
I pulled a braids in my prerelease as both my promo and a rare so I made the deck. It’s so much fun so I’m rooting for the nightmare. So much value.
Can't believe so many people slept on new Braids, she offers so much value on a 3 drop. I think she's easily a new auto include in pretty much any aristocrats deck
This just makes me glad I didn’t make zedruu, costs way too much mana to cast and donate plus no one is falling for her anymore so
Yeah kinda old magic, Optimus prime and the nerd tribal are good for jeskai
@@jcalendar882 what about artifact storm Elsha? Or Hinata? I like those 2 for jeskai. I'll look into Optimus prime and other transformers if not for power maybe just for their flavour and unique-ness
@@MaxSpider2000 elsha is too one trick pony like narset. Force them to sac and that's the end. I have a Hinata deck and it's very political because sometimes going to heavy in spellslinger you will get overrun and most of them are usually storm decks. I love combat and getting 2 if them centered around it is fun.
More Braids, more Braids, more BRAIDS! 😍
I put Braids in my Soul of Windgrace deck so I can sacrifice lands to make my opponents sac their own lands or let me draw cards. Then I just play my lands from the grave.
Seems strong. Just wait for
The brothers war card that lets you fetch non basics with evolving wilds/ terramoprhic expanse.
@@jeffnorris211 wait what? That's disgusting
I really want to build my zedruu deck again. Based it off of yours before COVID, but it was not great for spelltable. Love seeing you play it.
Please don't be that guy who will wait the whole 2nd turn just to flash in ramp spell at the last end step. Just play it already and save time for the whole table - shuffle on other player's turn. Please.
Anyone know what sleeves Felix was using? Like that color.
Made a Braids deck pretty much as soon as the card got spoiled. Can't believe how slept on she was, it's my most fun/consistent deck by far
Hi, can you share a deck list. Looking to build my own!
Braids is my favourite. Mine is more of a combo build. My favourite permanent to snacrifice to her is my lands 😅
When Fires of Invention is in play you don't need to tap your lands. You cast 2 spells for free equal to or less than the number of lands you control just an FYI
Interested in seeing your Zedruu list, Andrew! I could never seem to get them right but always wanted to make them work.
Zedruu is too slow for edh nowadays. It just costs too much for the value that you get. Compare it to braids that drew three cards the turn it came into play.
@@thengine7 I don't disagree. I just always wanted Zedruu to work, i love the concept. But you are right.
Calling Teysa wins right now, gonna edit when I see the result
Edit : called it but what a odd win, Teysa is such a value engine but Braids really was going off.
That Drake is the biggest dbag move
Damning Verdict should not have killed Bontu @7:10. Or am I missing something?
good point, it has a counter on it, should've stayed on board I believe..
Is it possible to get the Teysa decklist ?
Everyone always forgets that Teysa gives your tokens lifelink, this is no minor treat but everyone forgets
Teysa is annoyingly strong....Giving them Vigilance is the cherry on top. A bit of a pushed card imo.
Stupid fact
Spara means "to shoot" in italian
That's not stupid at all! That's really interesting.
Makes him cooler as a mafia boss tbh
I saw that form of the dragon hitting the graveyard
Smuggler stash never works with end step draws like monarch and braids, cause its check resolves before the active player's draw. And that's why it sucks.
I once won a game with revel in riches simply because the table forgot about it cause who ever wins with revel in riches.
I have won twice with Revel. But the first time no one was paying attention to me cause all I did was use board wipes and life gain.
It seemed no one was running significant removal or interaction.
Awesome Braids deck
You can't respond to mana abilities they don't use the stack
It’s so ez to forget that tokens have vigilance and lifeline when teysa is on board :)
How did u know, the for decks I'm building In one pod lol,i know this going to be a good one
I see Falco and cant unhear the Blood Hound Gang.
rock me amadeus
teysa vs braids, aristocrat battle
Teysa
revel in riches win! sweet
My money on falcon, I'll change later at the end
What was this game about: SACC
Why not sac your creature to braids mud?
Not sure how you can play the revel in riches win condition and pretend you played a real magic game. Whats the point of building a deck with such a lame win con
Whats next? You cant combo win? No reanimate 5 times+ a kokusho? No etb steal the stuff others do to do it yourself?
@william: i think at that point teysa would have won even without revel and riches.
just pay 1 to draw 4 + pin 2 + gain 2 treassures and 2 colorless with 8 spirits, 1 worm, 1 esper sentinel. also gain the creature back with a flying counter + pay 6 to not get the creature back to hand. on every non token...
yeah that means the 44 cards will help to get the win (+33 mana).
or + 8 if you sac teysa 2 times cause moth (+6mana).
@@okgut2033 you can do what you want but it's a lame way to win. normal MTG players don't want to lose or win with a boring no effort strategy. you can lie to yourself if you'd like but it's lame
Ok boomer
Are people just completely randomly targeting their removal this game?
