Why does Abdullah try to take away the attention from the persecution of Middle Eastern Christians? There are plenty of discussions on Islamophobia, but this one in particular was about Christian persecution and he barely acknowledged it. Good on Nikki for attempting to keep the topic on MENA Christians.

Flirting has been part of British culture for hundreds of years at least! How many of us began our relationships with our partners by flirting? I can't believe this is even being asked! Too many people are too quick to claim harassment. The word is losing it's meaning.

“Brushing a woman’s knee” is a reference to the Conservative politician who lost his job when the “Me Too” movement was first ramping-up because he touched Julia Hartley Brewers knee YEARS earlier. She thought that the whole drama was ludicrous! She did NOT think that it even deserved mentioning! She is a highly successful, intelligent & strong woman in a predominantly male industry. It was pure politics & exemplifies the negative side of the easily abused Me Too movement. “Innocent until proven guilty” is a founding principle of our culture. “Believe all women” directly opposes that principle!
Note : To my knowledge, no Muslim women were involved in the “Me Too” movement. Other than the fact that there are some Muslim guests (there predominantly for the 2nd question) in the audience, what on earth does a critique of Islamic culture have to do with this, very Western ‘Woke’ subject??!?

Dan Lucas If you live in Britain that’s not really an issue. Muslim women are a small % of the British population & only a tiny % of that small number wear the veil. Do you actually know any veiled women? Do you have a secret crush on a Muslim coworker? If so, maybe you should just offer to get her a cup of coffee or tea & hopefully you’ll get into conversation... ☺️

Relating to: in public, men find more women physically attractive, women find less men physically attractive. Women just don't find as many men attractive. And they're sure that a guy will approach them instead - so they don't try anything other than look good and go to wherever men might be. I'm sorry, but it's true.

For once, Abdullah actually made a half-sensible point. When he was going on about Victorian times, I think what he was saying was that, in that period, there were set rules and customs surrounding courtship. There was not the ambivalence that might exist today. These customs made it clear to both parties what the intentions were, and people could act accordingly.
The same goes for modern Islam, in which courtship is a regimented thing, not something that happens on the fly, potentially with one party not even knowing that's what's occuring

Flirting thing, first i herd about law changes and what not. Flirting is flirting. Theres a difference between "You're looking great today, I was wondering if you would like to go for coffee or a drink after work" and "Come on lets go for a drink! You you want to... come on let just go out, you love it, come on, come on...." One is flirting the other is harrasment. Neither require laws cause both should be delt with by each party or the boss should complaints be made. Now there has to be laws against prolonged harrasment.

I’ve seen all of the above, if anyone senses harassment they are quickly outed or confronted because it’s not an acceptable behaviour. Judging what men would be as predatory or not can lead to profiling, whether racial, Disability, etc. So it's best to push clearly defined terms that no one is to engage in sexual speech if the person doesn't ok the conversation. In college, men and women are told that if people don't say yes to the "flirtatious" behavior, then it crosses the line. To profile men as potential predators as problematic.
It seems problematic that people would rationalize or seem to ostensibly defend the freedom to do whatever one wants without the consent of the other. Freedom without other's people consent is not freedom. Freedom requires consent from other people. Sexual language and flirting that is not invited by people is sexual harrassment.

Christian persecution is because of the negative image of the missionaries. People hate them and they keep appearing in countries and start forcing their religion out of context. And due to the negative history of Christian missionaries in Western colonial history.

Christians are the most persecuted. I am not one, she simply stated a fact. At no point did she say Muslims are not, quite the opposite. So this I need to be a victim stance was ridiculous. More black people are shot black people are shot unarmed than white people in the USA. That does not mean it has not happened to a white person. This whatabouttery literally shuts down conversation. I am afraid that Muslim man let himself down. Nobody was saying that Muslims are not suffering as well. Why do some people NEED to be victims? All he does with that debate style is give the right wingers who do not like Muslims leverage, as he is not prepared to talk about the facts.

Do not like the second question at all. As a reasonable, sensible human being, this form of harassment which of course can go either way should not be banned I do not think. However, if he/she controls human being, older, younger or same age, he/she should face the consequences for it and if he/she is letting him/herself down, if the company does not do something about this within a reasonable time frame i.e fourteen days, failure on the company for not complying this horrible and humiliating issue. If I was a barrister or any legal occupation, yes punishment on the employer or employee for taking advantage of him/her but on the same wavelength, the company should face damages for failing to comply within fourteen days. I am looking at it in a sense of fairness on the whole picture.

Angela mentioned about predatory women. They exist but it is not just the perpetrators, male and female, society as a whole including myself need to take a little bit more responsibility, helping the next wave of individuals feel a sense of self esteem as well as themselves. I must have met so many individuals going all the way back to primary school in my case thirty years. I have had good and bad experiences but you can learn from them, improving yourself, self confidence wise. Starts with the individual first, building up confidence, self esteem then the human interaction, school, work, on the busy streets, etc, getting to know them, likes, dislikes, basic human interaction. I sense that there is a real fear in this audience.

That's the problem, they take their emotions soooo seriously that they only condone feeling happy all the time and if not that's a crime.
If you don't want to be offended by others you should live a life on your one without others, no one can read minds and only trough conversation and action we understand their emotions.
You need to be offended to show others how you want to be treated.

In a society run by Abdullah and his ilk flirtation would not be a problem for he would have all women in burkas and and/or sequestered, it must be remembered that we do not live in societies that are ruled under and Islamic caliphate but societies we're basic manners are expected to be the norm, we live in societies where we expect no to mean no and our basic Humanity to be respected. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder weather the eye belongs to a female or a male. As to the question of Christian refugees it is my belief that no they should not get any special priority but be treated exactly the same as any refugee that is seeking help and safety and should be treated with respect kindness and sympathy as all refugees should be.

She has then option to date him or not date , within 3-6 months the man has to propose to her. She then can accept or not accept. By the way her chastity value is not broken while they are dating period. We don't see teenage moms and mass sexual rape like the west. Whereas females are sexual objectives.🙄

It's like saying that Atheism is a religion which it is now it's a philosophy which is totally different. The BBC a once well respected news sauce has lost its way along with all the other news sauces (ie news papers) in England. By taking the view of the government (I assume it was government guided) you have lost the support of the BRITISH PUBLIC. It has come to the point where we watch the news just to spot the bias and hatchet jobs and that is not good for a news service. As a news service your job is to report the NEWS not what you think we should know, the news of the day is the news. When you start broadcasting your point of view that is NOT the news, it is your point of view. The news blackout that has been placed upon the British people has done the country a great injustice, because the public have not been informed they cannot make up their minds about a given situation. The muslin rape gangs are a perfect example, the religion of peace (muslims) another example. We now watch other sauces to get the truth (Questionable) but better than yours.
