Mische Technique: Harmonizing Glazes

There’s a moment in every painting where you have to start really bringing all the pieces together. You get here no matter version of the Mische Technique you are doing and it’s easy to get lost in this step of the painting if you don’t have a good idea of where you are going with the final piece. This is a rather intuitive step and it is different for every painting you do, but once you get a feel for how it works, you can apply these basic principles to every new painting you work on.
