The beast is not the Roman Church. Read Rev 17 which describes the Harlot "which rides the beast". Also called the Mother of Harlots. She sits on seven hills. There are other verses that say “it shall be as a mark…”. That is not only spoken about the Sabbath but ALSO about the Passover, and about the commandments in general. There are the main two: love YHWH with all your heart, mind, and soul, and your neighbor as yourself, which are a short summary of the 10. And all the other commandments are detailed explanations as to how YHWH expects walking out those commandments to look like. It is not up to US to decide how to carry out His commands. He has told us already. And they are ALL as a mark. Obeying His Commandments sets us apart from the world.

So if I want to avoid receiving the Mark of the Beast, all I should do is have faith, keep the 10 commandments and worship and keep the Sabbath on Saturdays? Colossians 2:14-16 is only talking about the ceremonial feast day sabbaths. It says don’t judge in new moons food and drink. There are no food and drink requirements in the Ten Commandments.

I understand when you say no one has the mark of rhe beast yet. But personally i disagree. If you keep the sabbath on Sunday and not the day God commands to, you currently have the beasts mark.
@my1vice if the beast is the papacy. And the papacy claims keeping the sunday sabbath is its mark. This means if you are keeping the sunday sabbath, you already have the papacy's (the beasts) mark. It doesn't matter when you start keeping it. It is the keeping of it that gives you the mark. There will be a closing of probation, though.

At the end of time, though, when Sunday worship will be enforced, everyone will have heard the truth. Anyone who accepts Sunday will have received the mark of the beast. No...I'm Baptist and I know the Sabbath is Saturday. Actually it's Friday evening until Saturday evening. The Mark of the Beast is not that at all. Jesus does address the evil in the church and false teachers (the Catholic Church, JWs, Mormons, and Muslims, in the parables but the mark is not Sunday worship. We should worship everyday in spirit and truth, not just a particular day of the week. The whole Jewish calendar has been replaced. Do you guys keep all of the holy days? Do you guys believe Ellen White was really a prophet?

The Sabbath predates "the Jewish calendar", and is the only "holy day" mentioned in the 10C's. In addition, the Sabbath played a pivotal role in arguably the two most important events in the Bible besides the Creation: the Exodus in the OT (which is a typology of the second coming) and Jesus' crucifixion in the NT. So to reduce it as irrelevant Jewish tradition is probably not correct.

There was a time when I bought into all this Revelation nonsense. I too used to say the Beast and the Number is this or that. What we need to understand is what Revelation is really all about. We must consider the circumstances of the time in which is was written. Jerusalem was destroyed. The Temple no more. Judeans are scattered abroad with complete despair. There was one clear enemy: Rome. The fantastic Beasts in the Epic, The Red(Color of Rome and it's Legions) Dragon, The Beast(the Empire) from the Sea, The Beast(The Emperor) from the Land, The Scarlet Woman(Rome itself) all represent that enemy. John the Author envisioned that the Empire would continue it's expansion and control the entire World. Rome did reach impressive heights. But nothing quite what John imagined. Nonetheless he needed something to give these scattered Judeans some hope for the future. So he writes his vision(Revelation) of a hopeful end of things. This we get and ending with Rome destroyed and Jerusalem(the Wounded Head of the Beast that Heals) is restored to glory forever. This was never intended to be about any distant future. But only the near future of the time of the writing. So to be clear. There is no "Number" to fear. No "One World Religion" neither. Religion today is dying a slow death. It poisons everything. Religion is where hate, division, prejudice, even racism have a home. So maybe it's time to let it die a deserving death.

The second beast of lies, saying “one nation under God” and “in God we trust”, indeed the “father of lies”, did bring fire from the heaven, (Greek Strong's Number: 3772...(through the idea of elevation); the SKY...), and did set up a false Israel in the middle east, (proven false by this verse among others 9 ...Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, HE IS NONE OF HIS. This Israel has been and is the catalyst of “wars and rumors of wars” making it the image of the first beast of warmongering , Germany, who’s head was wounded in WWI(1st harvest, woe) and healed enough to bring about WWII(2nd harvest, woe). And this leaves only one “woe”(WWIII) left, the war that God hates (abomination), a war that makes the world desolate. 7th trump and bowl are simultaneous and plunge the world into 3½ yrs of great tribulation. If the truth were being told then the prophecy of Matt. 24:14 would have occurred years ago, shortly after the advent of the world-wide-web. This fact proves that the prominent teachers are false teachers. Colossians 2:14-16 is only talking about the ceremonial feast day sabbaths. It says don’t judge in new moons food and drink.
There are no food and drink requirements in the Ten Commandments.

At the end of time, though, when Sunday worship will be enforced, everyone will have heard the truth. They will hear the arguments for Sunday and the arguments for the true sabbath (sunset Friday to sunset Saturday). Then everyone will have to make a decision. Anyone who accepts Sunday will have received the mark of the beast. Some will receive a mark in their head, meaning they legitimately believe Sunday is the true sabbath despite the evidence against it, and some will receive a mark in their hand, meaning they go along with Sunday laws out of fear even though they don't believe Sunday is the true sabbath.

No...I'm Baptist and I know the Sabbath is Saturday. Actually it's Friday evening until Saturday evening. The Mark of the Beast is not that at all. Jesus does address the evil in the church and false teachers (the Catholic Church, JWs, Mormons, and Muslims, in the parables but the mark is not Sunday worship. We should worship everyday in spirit and truth, not just a particular day of the week. The whole Jewish calendar has been replaced. Do you guys keep all of the holy days? Do you guys believe Ellen White was really a prophet?

The Sabbath predates "the Jewish calendar", and is the only "holy day" mentioned in the 10C's.
In addition, the Sabbath played a pivotal role in arguably the two most important events in the Bible besides the Creation: the Exodus in the OT (which is a typology of the second coming) and Jesus' crucifixion in the NT.
So to reduce it as irrelevant Jewish tradition is probably not correct.
Then what is the mark of the beast?

There was a time when I bought into all this Revelation nonsense. I too used to say the Beast and the Number is this or that. What we need to understand is what Revelation is really all about. We must consider the circumstances of the time in which is was written. Jerusalem was destroyed. The Temple no more. Judeans are scattered abroad with complete despair. There was one clear enemy: Rome. The fantastic Beasts in the Epic, The Red(Color of Rome and it's Legions) Dragon, The Beast(the Empire) from the Sea, The Beast(The Emperor) from the Land, The Scarlet Woman(Rome itself) all represent that enemy. John the Author envisioned that the Empire would continue it's expansion and control the entire World. Rome did reach impressive heights. But nothing quite what John imagined. Nonetheless he needed something to give these scattered Judeans some hope for the future. So he writes his vision(Revelation) of a hopeful end of things. This we get and ending with Rome destroyed and Jerusalem(the Wounded Head of the Beast that Heals) is restored to glory forever. This was never intended to be about any distant future. But only the near future of the time of the writing. So to be clear. There is no "Number" to fear. No "One World Religion" neither. Religion today is dying a slow death. It poisons everything. Religion is where hate, division, prejudice, even racism have a home. So maybe it's time to let it die a deserving death.

The second beast of lies, saying “one nation under God” and “in God we trust”, indeed the “father of lies”, did bring fire from the heaven, (Greek Strong's Number: 3772...(through the idea of elevation); the SKY...), and did set up a false Israel in the middle east, (proven false by this verse among others 9 ...Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, HE IS NONE OF HIS. This Israel has been and is the catalyst of “wars and rumors of wars” making it the image of the first beast of warmongering , Germany, who’s head was wounded in WWI(1st harvest, woe) and healed enough to bring about WWII(2nd harvest, woe).
You couldn’t get a better fulfillment of prophecy. For these events to happen again would negate the prophecies altogether. And it is asinine to think these events are happenstance and ignored by the prophecies of God. No sir, either God’s timing is off or yours is.
And this leaves only one “woe”(WWIII) left, the war that God hates (abomination), a war that makes the world desolate. 7th trump and bowl are simultaneous and plunge the world into 3½ yrs of great tribulation.

Yall. Jesús died on PASSOVER. He did NOT die on a Friday. Look into the origins of “Good Friday.” Jesus died on a Wednesday afternoon that year, at the time of the sacrifice of the Passover lambs because that’s what He IS. He was in the grave THREE nights and THREE days!! Friday to Sunday does not fulfill this parameter. PLEASE PLEASE investigate these things.
