I don't trust the way prices weren't marked on most goods in the free-zone. I always feel like I'm getting taken advantage of because I'm a foreigner. I prefer to see the prices and know that everyone is paying the same.

It's amazing how much Colon has changed. My first time in Panama back in 2002 I visited and the buildings long the main avenue were all in terrible condition and it was safe to walk around, especially with a camera. Casco Viejo was the same at that time and now it's a huge tourist draw.

Great video Sly, you made it to old Colon safe, I am surprise you did not video the scenery from your bus trip from Panama to Colon. Yes some part on the old Colon where you were walking around 16th Street all the way to 1st street does looks like old Havana Cuba deteriorated, 16th street not as dangerous as it was 3 years ago. The danger is in between from around 13th Street to 1st street on any of the 10 avenues, is like the favelas, lot of great people but with some opportunistic young gangs members. The other parts of Colon are complete paradise.

You need a pass to enter that you purchase at the administration office near the entrance. They have all the prices listed there.
