I played against this deck on my first ever nationals. That was 2012 I think. Played machina gadgets with the amazing extra deck of 3 Big eye 3 utopia 3 photon papeloperative and 3 wind-up zenmaister. First competative tournament I ever attended.
in high school a bunch of us played yugioh lol we still do i played my budget heroes in nekroz format and my buddies played stuff like battlin' boxers, ritual beasts, and infernoids. those were the days lol before yugioh got expensive for me
A few of my friends played Yugioh in elementary and middle school(07-08) but I have a cool story for what happened in highschool(09-12). So my friends just lost interest or didn't play at first but then during 'Senior Freak Week'(week where the 12th graders dress up for fun) there was Geek Day. One of the Seniors brought in a duel disc with cards. The next day me and around 20 others brought in our card and started a yugioh community. Most of us were scrubs but it was fun. Our local Library next to the highschool even set aside a room upstairs just for us. I haven't really kept in touch with most of the players or they've stopped playing yugioh but it was a blast. I then found a large group of yugioh players in my college that I've been playing with. I'll probably go visit and play cards with them from time to time since I actually got my Associates this passed semester. Oh damn oops, didn't mean to have this big of a wall of text Sry lol

This is my favourite deck of all time as well. I remember playing this deck around later 2008 or early 2009, when the emperors structure deck just had come out. This deck was good, but your list is wrong if i'm not mistaking. MST was at 1 at the time, it went to 2 then 3. This is a good blast from the last thanks man.
This deck used to be pretty powerful, it eventually lead to a trend where people just ran Macro Cosmos in everything because it just worked until it got banned I think. This was not long after I stopped playing (Synchros, XYZs, and Tribe decks became the norm).
Fun fact: this was the only deck I owned from 2009 to 2011 was Macro. Loved all the varriations I tried. I took it to my 1st event, I got my 1st regional top with it and took it my 1st WCQ (to a successful 0-3, eat pizza). I'll have a soft spot in my heart for this deck. I'm pretty lucky we have 20 consistent players there all really into it not just meh play one deck then after awhile call YGO boring but never played anything else.
Believe it or not that deck can still get work done if you add 3 banishers 3 gold sarcophagus and back row protection in particular dark bribe also karma kut
eule franz no. Well, yes, it did come out in first wave synchro, but if gale and rose were out, the new pack would have been crimson crisis? I think was the third pack that rose came in? I forget, but this would have been second or third pack for synchros. EDIT: sorry, read that wrong. I thought you asked if android had JUST been released. My bad!

Yeah my last two years in high school i played yugioh and i had a whole crew about ten to twelve of us that played. Those are some good memories.
God I miss Makro Monachars, used to play it in 06-07 after Enemy of Justice dropped, good old times!
