Hi Brun and Jay! The coin was beautiful. We like the way you clean up your finds. It always amazes us how well somethings are preserved under ground. Another great video!
@@northerngirlhobbies hi, we use Andre Pencils on coins and never use water on anything. We use Parafin Oil after all the dirt is brushed off. It’s a bit of effort but worth the work because I like to keep a patina on the objects.
I know that I know your name from comments on other detectorist's vids, just can't remember if it's CBK or DID. It may be elsewhere, so apologies for mis locating you, if I have! @@waynearmstrong5233 hi Wayne, yes CBK and 10TD and miners den lives etc. Thanks for subbing. I’ve found a few pennies and love coins and history, relics, artefacts etc. it’s all fun and I do ruins mostly. It’s loads of fun. I hope you enjoy the vids. 😀Brun
@@brunfree Thank you! That was my second target. I thought maybe a penny but when I saw the V I started to cry. Sorry!! Ps I have heard that if you find Wheat Pennies you find silver or old coins. Well on RUclips my friends have been showing that saying is true. Well around that same tree I found the v Nickel I had found two wheat Pennies from the 1940's,a glass button,a 1960's key, and maybe a buckle. So it's cool to find that coin. Then a couple feet away found a 1970's button. It's very intriguing that over the 100 years the different finds that are there.
@@aggitravel the minelab Vanquish 540 is a great Multi IQ detector for about $650 aus. And you’ll need a pin pointer for about $200. A shovel too. So that’ll be a good start. I use a Manticore. It’s an expensive machine but I started with a second hand Equinox 800. Just start with what you can afford to see if you like it. Happy days😀
