Correction, in BT3, all Dragonfist attacks worked on Giants. Including GT Goku's.

The devs are most likely gonna fix this. They are really in tune with the fans and their demands fixing stuff will ssj3 like his smile and his muscle mass. They even said this game is “for the fans” so once this goes around they’ll definitely go and tweak it

Honestly could be a thing that changes in the final build. I remember back when storm generations had pre release demos at events and people were talking about how grabs werent capable of being the final hit of a match the match just wouldnt end unless you hit a different move. I wouldnt judge this too hard until it ends up that we cant do it in the final version.
Hope that gets fixed since that move was used on hirudegarn

I feel like it would work until they add movie characters dlc.
This low key confirms movie characters aren't gonna be in the roster, since this move isn't designed to be used against Hirudigarn, who'd totally be in the starting roster if movies was indeed part of it.

But I'm not sure if Jamemba or Z Broly etc will be in the game

But the logic that non movie characters won’t be in the game doesn’t make sense if dragon fist is in there as a move in the game in the first place, since dragon fist is from the non canon movie
What if they made move variant based on who you fight? For example, Dragon Fist wraps around Hirudegarn in the movie, so they have the Dragon tangle up giant characters
if im not mistaken gt ssj4 gokus dragonfist only works on great ape baby so they could make it a fitting cutscene which would be cool imo (and also i think just a balance due to super characters since they would technically be able to do rush attacks if the allow goku ssj3 to just do it lol.)
This dumb cuz the whole purpose of dragons fist was to kill a giant smh 🤦♂️

Kinda of a big nerf tho, but it would be bizarre if it doesn't, maybe it can only work if Hirudegarn just to reference the Wrath of the Dragon film but I digress.
They will probably fix it before release or when the inevitable movies dlc releases

I mean Janemba wasn't in Fist vs Sword trailer. So that was a dead giveaway. Especially with Anilaza being in the game first. But the I wonder if it will work for Android 17 (Super) against Anilaza.

@@kaysroman5319The only thing they are saving is that mystery pre-order bonus character. Why would they save reveal of OG, Z Movie and GT characters when nothing from either has been revealed.

I understand how the rush moves can't really work on giants but I hope they make at least some of them work. Dragon Fist has to work on Hirudegarn at least.
After watching many gameplays I noticed that the cinematic part of the ultimate attacks doesn't play when hitting Oozaru Vegeta. I guess it must be a technical issue due to the size of the Oozaru that Spike hasn't been able to work it out yet...
If there aren't z movies or GT I'm going to be extremely disappointed, like why do we have kakunsa and Rozie but not all the stuff from BT3
Simple answer is CANON PRIORITY, also sparking zero is 17 years later so not everything is going to make it, GT wont make it because super replaced it, and rozie and ribrianne are far more important to put in a game because they are canon and part of super and ssj4 goku isn't, they know you like ssj4 more but they aren't going to put it in the game because they are still side characters, they are the last thing to put in the game
@danovenaponte2370 ssj4 and GT are not a side characters wtf, they are main cast characters from the official dragon ball franchise and anime, kakunsa and rozie are considered side characters, they are useless side filler additions in the TOP
@@Suumac_ canon characters take priority over anything else, if it's not og, DBZ, or super, then it has no priority and will probably be added after they feel like there are no more canon characters that need to be added
@@Suumac_ GT is side characters because they aren't canon, if they arent part of the story they are side activity, just because the world like ssj4 more doesn't make it more important to put into a game than rozie and ribrianne, rozie and ribrianne play a part in the real storyline, ssj4 didn't so they aren't adding ssj4 goku, there is no counter to that, ssj4 isnt in the game

Core Breaker works on all great apes in xenoverse 2. I have used it on my strike characters to defeat some of the great ape enemies.

My thoughts on why it doesn’t work yet is due to Vegeta great ape being the only giant character within the demo. I’m sure it’ll be an easy implementation to have it activate on giants.

i think some movies will be part of the initial roster cause Goku and Vegeta (Z-End) have some moves the did on movies villains (like twin dragon fist from Goku SSJ3 on Fat Janemba)

This could also be it’s not programmed into the game just yet and maybe the build we got doesn’t allow it.
Also I'm super hyped for the game but it's heart breaking to see so many issues with ssj3, body mass, Victory poss, dragon fist not working on gaints, low hair volume, it's my favorite tranformation after ssj and i hope they fix it but we don't have much time for that i guess i would be glad if the able to fix super sayian banana hair at the very least otherwise have to wait for mods

No it actually does I saw a clip where it did! It works on giants Ndukauba hopefully you see this but it does work on giants there is footage of it working

It could be because this is a demo. they would need to make an entire new animation for when Dragon Fist hits a giant.

Hirudegarn can be Part of a DLC Pack of Bandai Namco Entertainment chose to go that route
I think the only non-cannon movies characters we'll get will be Z Broly, Cooler and Janemba since they are huge fan favorite characters

I could see them making Dragon Fist work against Hirudegarn, but not other giants. Why? I’m not sure, it just seems like something they would do.. I do hope I’m wrong about that, but I can them doing it.

judging by what spots we have left ill assume ALL movie type characters including super hero and some of broly will be dlc. Makes sense gogeta and broly are preorder movie dlc. some Villains and GT will get the remaining spots.
I did the math on the 64 characters left. Most of the viable super roster is finished. If we Involved transformation for characters we already have(z Frieza, cell) all movie characters, and GT characters(the ones that anyone would care to play as...there's about 10-12) theres still likr 30-25 slots left for the remaining super characters. (I can't imagine it being more than 30 relevant playable characters on top of the super characters we have now) So it'll be more than enough space for movie and GT

id be quite sad to lose bojack and janemba, but its really for the best. this is the first time DBS is ever going to get a chance to have far more of its non major characters in games

Hirudegran has to be in the game because thats the only time dragon fist is shown so why would he not be in the game I think it doesn’t work because the giants in the game are actual giants unlike bt3 where they were still big but nowhere near the size they are now so I think they would have to make 2 different animations for dragon fist just for it to work on these huge ass characters 😂 who knows tho

This was literally a move that gave a character extra viability against certain types of characters. If you don’t care about it, that’s fine, but don’t sit there and make it seem like it isn’t something to complain about when it was a feature in the previous game
Not to worry, they will fix this just like they been fixing everything else.
