      Don’t forget Simon Jordan. That man who bankrupted Palace. Owned them for 10 years and only one of those years was in the Prem. Yet he puts himself up there with the best owners of the game. The only real experience he has is the Andy Johnson transfer, which we hear every day, or the Dowie lawsuit.

      To be fair on Arteta if he doesn’t win something next season he will have to be under pressure for his job no manager has spent more than him since he got the job can’t spend what he has and consider being runner up or getting to later stages in competitions as a success

    Bayern have been declining ever since the treble win in 2020. Many core members of that team have all got older, and they have undergone major changes at boardroom level, with Kahn and Salihamidzic resigning at the end of last season. The instability at the club that Tuchel is going through now had already claimed Nagelsmann. As much as we all thought Bayern were going to win every title forever, the fact is that it was only a matter of time before it was going to end.

    People say he fell out with the people at Dortmund but I remember in 2017 when there was a bomb attack on the team bus on the day of a UCL game, and instead of giving Tuchel and the players a few days off to recover from the shock of the attack as Tuchel requested, the hierarchy instead told him that they asked UEFA to reschedule the match by ONE day. After a bomb attack that would have taken a lot more than 24 hours to recover from, and in Marc Bartra's case, injuries sustained in the attack. Understandably Tuchel wasn't best pleased, would you be? As a Chelsea fan I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

    Had Tuchel won the Budesliga and won last night, Yes. Now, absolutely too high risk to take a chance on him. MU need a winning manager with a massive ego who the players will respect when things are going wrong.

    In a parallel universe T Tuchel could be 3x or 4x Champions League winning manager.
    Not interested in listening to a failed manager and a failed chairman in assessment of one of the best managers in the game.
    As Guardiola said, football is a game of fine margins. Real Madrid created nothing all game, game plan worked to perfection. One of the greatest keepers in the game dropped a clanger and referee prematurely blew his whistle against the guidelines for the equaliser and they went out.
    His PSG side outplayed Bayern in the final - Neymar pressing like a demon, Chelsea were minutes away from knocking Real Madrid out deservedly but bottled it.
    Had the crony Conservative government not illegally seized an asset from Chelsea’s owner and tried to get it sold on the cheap to one of their donors - T Tuchel would still be a Chelsea manager.

But that being said him and ten hag switching jobs could be best for Both clubs bjt im convinced potter will end up at united if ten hag does go

    Tuchel is a good manager that has the CV for a club like United. But is he somebody who can build a team. United need major surgery all over the field and to implement an attacking style of play. Tuchel seems more the kind of a manger to bring in to win you things with a squad that is already there in a pragmatic way. United need to move into the 21st century and actually start playing proper football, like what City/Arsenal/Liverpool are doing. It’s been too defensive and counter attacking ever since Ferguson retired

    I don't understand the Tuchel link, it's makes no sense. We want a manager who plays exciting football and is supposed to be a long term option, who can challenge for the league. He stays everywhere a couple of years, is quite pragmatic and has 2 league titles PSG and Bayern. Good manager, but it's such a strange link

    • @G-fd5ug
      @G-fd5ug 10 дней назад

      The link is because he’s the most high profile manager available and wants to return to England. It makes sense. He wants the job more than United want to offer it. The links are more his side. I think United are going to go for Potter or Southgate because they’re friends with Ashworth
