When I'm eating while watching a video I don't even realize that I am eating the food until I actually finish it.

So what you saying also worked for me, but the only problem that I had is that the actual time of eating my food took pretty long at the end. So the 10 min mark can be usefull if you need to eat fast because you have an appointment or want to get rid of it really fast. It depends on time and moment of the day.

I usually don't comment on videos, HOWEVER: I must say I really love the way you encourage Jack ( 4:39 for example). I'm not a lifter, but I had a similar situation once when a national level athlete from my swim team always told me things like "good work today" or "I see you working hard today" when I was barely good enough to compete at district/county (whatever it is called in the UK) champs. Small words of encouragement, especially from people much more experienced than you, can really go a long way. He is one of the reasons I am still chasing my dreams in my sport today and I hope you can be something similar to Jack as well.

Absolutely love your videos Joe. As a kid at school, I was very skinny, and struggled to put on weight, mainly because I had salmonella when I was a baby and had a poor appetite after. I tried bulking up during uni, but ate mainly junk food, and as a result, I ended up getting IBS, and I lost the weight I gained. Over the years, I've been able to navigate my diet better and understand what does and doesn't give me a flare up, and I was able to gain weight without realising. I'm 30, and in decent shape now, but looking to bulk up again, but in a healthier way this time. Been struggling emotionally since covid and my routine is a mess, but your videos are inspiring, and hopefully I will be able to sort myself out, whilst hitting the gym. I do your A/B workouts at the gym, and have seen good progress!

@@jackbean7195 No. 13 pounds or more of muscle in a month is not reasonable. It is enhanced. Ask ANYONE. Ps I have competed in powerlifting and will compete in bodybuilding when I have gained another 10 pounds or so, but that will take me another 4 years or so due to diminishing returns, Not 1 month.

As someone who was also very skinny, keep going. Do not obsrss over the time it takes to get bigger. Just do not quit and you will guarantee results, eat, train hard, rest, cardio, stay motivated, find other hobbies aswel as the gym. 😊

1 Thing I would switch when you said about expanding your stomach is drinking something like milk or fruit juice instead of water cause this'll help get more calories in!💪

Eating has to become a duty. It's a more important discipline than the training itself if you are skinny. Force yourself to eat. Eventually the stomach will grow and you will do so automatically.

I was like you guys. 185cm tall and around 66-67kg bodyweight. I started my journey 2023 January, doing mostly bodyweight exercises at home. I started hitting the Gym Juli 2023 and at the end of 2023 i measured 84kg weight, which was insane for me. I always dreamt of having like 75kg and tought that was nearly impossible to reach, but i gave my absolute everything in the gym and while eating, to push my limits.
I wish everyone that struggles with being too skinny the absolute best. You can do it!
