Keep putting these out. It may not be as polished but it feels like just sitting down with a friend and discussing stuff you are passionate about and when you do that, tangents happen.

Keep doing these. It's like coming over to the house and hanging out. You talk and tinker and it's fun.

I love that you said “to get these things out you have to have the tool for the right job” then you grab the hammer and moved it. I totally thought you were about to smash the hard drive.
    Your videos are awesome.

I love the rawness of these videos. I love how you use a paddle bit to pry open the lid of the hard drive. Talk about the right tool, for me the right tool is the right in front of me.😂 keep these videos coming. 👏👏

I had made multiple attempts over the past 15-20 years to learn different CAD and 3D design programs. Every time I failed miserably. I just couldn’t wrap my brain around the third dimension. Then a couple of years ago I came across a RUclips video showing how to make a simple somethingorotherwhatsit. It was so clearly explained and the step by step walkthrough finally tripped a switch in my brain. I’ve been learning Fusion 360 since then. It is so much fun.
    Tangents…I have a few…
Loving your attempts at finishing stuff. You succeed far more often than I do. Lol.

Thank you so much! For me and the 3D program it’s figuring out commands! I keep using Photoshop commands and other things that do something different with this one! I will get there!!

Shawn, It's been a bit, but I'm glad to see you still on it. I've been away due to some personal issue, but now that everything is back on track, I'm excited to go back and watch the last few videos I've missed.
I'm also joining you on the Resin printer journey and Fusion 360. I just got an AnyCubic Mono SQ and while it's small format, I'm excited to dip my foot into the 3d printing realm.
Anyways, glad to see you again, I hope all is well and not time to head back and catch up :)

awesome podcash , Shawn. Very enjoyable and loved the insights on voice with respect to editing and recording it.
I too, love taking apart hard drives. in fact it was one of my favorite episodes I have made to date. I like your T-handle kit 9even if its missing bits....I use a jewelers kit I got from amazon, specifically because it has all the small torx and special bits for unique electronics. I cant wait to see what comes of the new project...very cool equipment

I like the channel and love hearing the stories as you work on props. I agree about my favorites being SW and the original Battlestar Galactica. I did not know this until I watched the ILM special on Disney+, but it make sense as to why I love both. ILM did a lot of the props and models for Battlestar Galactica. At least the same prop builders worked on both. So, it makes sense the "feel" was the same.

Got any good greeblies from the damaged resin printer? 😁 Wow!!! That's a beautiful banner! Gotta' get one soon!
The way you describe how you edit is a dead giveaway of your radio days! Very interesting! Super entertaining video, as usual!

This was a very good video. That fact that you gave about Voyager I didn't know Paramount was that cheap. I knew about the windows not having glass, but I figured that the stars were digitally placed in the scene like TNG or DS9. It was cool to learn that they used an old Hollywood trick of the moving spool. I really enjoy these Podcash. Your videos are amazing.

Love these, love the rawness and you going off on a tangent. As others have said, it’s like watching a friend explain something.
As for the content this week, I’ve learnt something yet again so job done on your part Mr Cash 👍🏼 I also had a giggle along the way.
Those banners look great, but I can’t seem to find the Protocol 13 props page on Facebook? I’ve requested to join the Star Wars room builders group however so I’ll search there once accepted.
Your upcoming projects sound interesting and I can’t wait to see them NOT get finished 😂 only joking, I can wait to see them get finished.
As always sir, all the best to you and yours from me and mine.

Shelving and revisiting prop/model projects isn't uncommon. I have 20 plus projects on hold/put away for another day. I find that when I revisit them, I have learnt something from another project or seen/watched inspiration.

  • @ekij133
    @ekij133 2 года назад +1

I may be paranoid but that sounds really like a scam. You pay shipping for a broken printer and then they try and get you to buy replacement parts for it that come to a whole lot of $$$!

I, kind of, agree! What a great way to get rid of broken, returns!
