I was a Haringay Racers supporter when i was a kid in both speedway and ice hockey. I hated the Lions back then.If only i knew that a few years later i would be so proud to put on the Wembley race jacket when i joined the Wembley Lions cycle speedway team.

Visited Wembley four times for speedway, wonderful atmosphere. Another track sadly lost to the sport.

I saw him ride for Edinburgh Monarchs from 1977 to 1979 at Powderhall when the speedway came back to Edinburgh. Great memories
