Hey ruby! I’m currently still in my first trimester and my bathroom has been my aversion. I ended up getting nose pegs (like swimmers use), for every time I use the bathroom. Real game changer, recommend! Also cannot wait for your first trimester vlog, I’ve struggled so much with sickness, nausea and aversion. It’s so nice to hear someone being honest about pregnancy online, it’s not just sunshine and rainbows and so hard! X
Omg… you are totally living the life how I felt and went through for both of my pregnancies! From the beginning especially…the sickness and tiredness and feeling bad about how I felt desperately wanting children but wasn’t prepared for how I would physically feel emotionally and physically! Both my girls are now 12yrs and 7yrs of age! I would recommend just taking every day as it comes and if anyone asks to help out ( ie husband, mum, friends) take it! You won’t feel like this through your whole pregnancy, I promise you! ( my midwife was happy I felt so sick, apparently it’s a sign of a strong pregnancy). By week 16 I was feeling more myself…however everyone is different! Believe me when I say…the love for your child is like no other! You’ll look back and know it was all worth it! Stay strong as and nibble on a ginger biscuit…❤❤❤
Omg the things that set me off are so random, the sound of the kitchen tap (especially when its filling the kettle), the light in the fridge (doesn't smell to me but the light gets me every time), even thinking about having to brush my teeth (or telling someone about it makes me gag, will make me gag haha)/toothbrush adverts/people brushing their teeth on tv or IRL.. idk if you got sick from your toothbrush but it was every single time early on and it haunts me to this day, it's still an absolute mission to get through without feeling sick! Also YES to supermarkets, the lights made me dizzy and the smells of the foods mixed with all the people I'm still struggling with them at 17w!
Hi Ruby-Just a suggestion that might help-Isabella Oliver -( online but may have shops in London?)-do great maternity wear. I wore their jeans through 3 pregnancies and they were super comfortable. 😊
Yess the fridge!! I’m 21 weeks and thankfully it’s fine now but I’d have to hold my breath before opening it 😂 I was also obsessed with coke before and now I can’t bare anything fizzy. The same with coffee, although I have been obsessed with iced coffees. We found out it’s a baby girl yesterday. Will you be announcing the gender? We couldn’t keep it in once we knew lol
Hello Ruby, in the Netherlands you have elastic bands voor your belly. For support the growing belly. You wear them over your clothes dresses, trousers or underc the clothes. Its real nice. I am sure you have them too in England. Inform with pregnancy stores. It wil hyde your insecurity. Love.
