Lowko, you missed the second biggest reason Hero won. Once he knocked Trap's economy to the stone age, he attacked only pylons. Trap's max supply fell far below his current supply so he couldn't make new probes. He had to make pylons first, and a lot of them.
And he couldnt make observers
some lovely decision making from hero there, he was getting dominated before... the phenoix were so successful for Trap.... to bad they cant detect stealth ;D

I was literally about to say that and seen your comment. All those pylons had to be replaced just to make an observer but he didn't have the funds to make them haha. So he had to build probes. Epic move
when the IQ levels rise, the gameplay gets cheesier.

I still don't get how to do this. All my archons in pvp have no abilities, is the Dark Archon mind control for campaign only? If not how do I create Dark Archons?

The one way to throw away your lead in PvP is to not have enough observers and scouting.
Despite a humongous lead and air superiority, Trap still decided to play blind the entire time.
He caused his own loss.

Are you scaling those IQ correctly? so it's twice as smart as Zest vs Rogue and 5 times smarter than TY vs zest?
Can we slow down on the IQ scaling... maybe increments of 1 or 10. We might run out of IQs :(

IQ is not linear, so this would be orders of magnitude smarter
I mean, we missed 90% of the strategy. The dt's targeted the robo, the probes, then the pylons. It's not that Trap didn't make units or observer but that he couldn't make anything until he made pylons. He's lucky he still had a couple probes or else it was insta gg then (watch his income).
This is the main trade off for super aggressive pressure. He was too busy watching his opponent and neglected the extra observer.
Basically a lesson for any player. When playing against someone who can have units like Dark Templars or other items you have difficulty detecting you need to have something at all times in your main bases to aid in detection. This failure left his probes open for attack. And once the they attacked the pylons as well he could not rebuild pylons fast enough to get to the point of rebuilding probes stalling his economy. The lack of one extra detection unit spelled total defeat.

Okay, i got goosebumps when the Dark Templars starts their mission. :D
Having such a large amount of phoenixes, one would think the opponent would invest into additional photon cannons to deter worker harass. Quite frankly, 300 mineral investment for a couple more photon cannons would pay for itself quite quickly, you only need to lose 6 probes for the not building 2 additional photon cannons option to be more costly in the long run.

I feel like this was more a mistake on Trap's end than a genius move on herO's end. Like, sure, herO took advantage of his opponent's distraction in a really big way, but Trap seemed to be really counting on herO to spring his... well, trap.
Still an absolutely amazing game though!

Still felt that if Trap was a little more patient, he could have recovered. He had hero badly pinned to 2 bases and hero never wanted to try to protect his 3rd any better. He just needed to keep the contain and slowly rebuild his economy. Forcing that last fight ultimately cost him the game.
This is why I like Hero.

Oof, anyone else think that maybe Trap should have all-in'd when his probes got wiped? i'm no expert but i also felt that his final engagement was also a possible win but had most of his units stuck doing nothing in the back.
Either way, a terrific cast from lowko and hope to see more in the future.
yeah no if trap went all in when his probes where getting killed he would have been murdered trying to push up that ramp

Serral vs Gumiho was the best game so far!
Trap probably should've forced a way in with a split force of zealots to enemies main base instead of sitting/retreating in front if herO the entire time. Could've also had a much better time against the zealot bait to dt if he chose to warp in some counter zealots and lose some probs instead of recalling some archons and zealots.
And this is why you don't sit on a contain for too long.
