Great idea to make the chocolate balls with Styrofoam. To make them shiny make a mixture of equal parts 1/2 clear corn syrup & 1/2 vodka. Brush on. It will dry very shiny.

What do you mean you are making "fake" chocolate balls, if, you are using real chocolate? You do NOT USE REAL chocolate, if, you are making FAKE chocolate balls or cake pops. That just isn't realistic and they will spoil.

It means you can't eat them because it's made with styrofoam balls dipped in chocolate. If you make the ones with half circle chocolate moulds, you can join both half circles which will make a ball and these you can definitely eat, but they take way much more chocolate to make, so, it's quite pricey, unless you make a few balls😉
