You Did a great job with the kit nice clean build and I agree with the color white . I enjoy the channel especially with the older kids thanks AL from upstate New York. You and your family Be healthy and safe.
I've built Tamiya models before, but never a car. This kit is beautifully produced and built, so I'll have to break out of my AMT habit and give T tamiya cars a try. Very nice kit. I just wish it had a complete engine. Very nice build. Best regards
PJ, It is a nice kit. For the most part Asian and European manufacturers don't make cars with open hoods. I think that's because most of the world never revered huge engines like in the US. They mostly use 4 cylinders engines so there's not much interest under the hood. -Doug
Wow, you did a beautiful job. Actually best job I think you’ve done. This new kit compared to older Revell or Amt kits is night and day. Just wish Tamiya would do more full engine kits.
I saw this kit at my local Hobbytown over a month ago but didn't get it because I had other things I wanted to get. By the time I got back a couple weeks later, it was gone. However, I believe they can order it for me like they did that Tom Daniel King Chopper model just recently. I'll ask next week when I go back.
Very nice. How did you detail the shocks? Did you paint in silver and then carefully with a small brush paint the springs metallic blue? or did you paint in metallic blue and then use a wash to contrast the springs? kindest regards.
SP, The main color was first. Silver on rears metallic blue on front then the rest was detailed with tiny brushes, steady hands, and magnification glasses! PS, please subscribe if you haven't already to help us reach more modelers. -Doug
Hi Great build! How did you do the gold / silver detailing on the underside of the chassis? Did you mask of the white section then airbrush each area or did you hand brush ? Cheers
I painted the whole chassis gloss white then masked for the gold including the silver area then masked the gold for the silver. Everything was airbrushed.
There is one plastic model kit that I have not seen you do a build review of Doug.AMT's re-issued Big Rig Semi Trailer in 1/25th scale. It is AMT kit no. 1164/06.There are two parts in the kit, that I do not know where exactly to put them;part # 25,and part # 11.I do not know where exactly these two parts go.I am almost done with mine;but if you could do a build review of this kit;and figure out where these two parts go,you should give everyone else a heads up;so that they know where exactly on the kit, these two parts go.
Devin, Those parts don't appear on the instruction sheet so they are most likely "leftover" parts from a previous version of the kit. It's been around since 1965 so it may have had other boxings. -Doug
@@RightOnReplicas Ok,thank you!.I had the feeling ghat they would be left over parts. But other modelers probably are unaware of this,so thank you Doug.
So I tried a Moutan dew game fuel and I’m planning to drink one during history class so my history teacher and crafts teacher there so nice they let me drink soda during class was soda allowed in your school
Simon, When I was in school you couldn't have soda. We called it "pop". I liked school but I couldn't wait to get home after classes, open a bottle of "pop" and work on my model! Let's stick to models here too. -Doug

Awesome build Chris. Do you have a RUclips channel?
TFS, Right here is where you'll find the best builders around - dedicated to sharing the hobby! -Doug
Kool looking build luv graphic decals but not a Mustang type of person.
ME, Thanks dude! -Doug
Love it so I said during webex class we’re gonna need a bigger boat from jaws
Simon, A lot of people never went back on the water after that movie. A bigger boat would be a good modeling subject. -Doug
