- Hi beautiful people! This video is long, I know, but I'm going over everything I could think of with my Kindle Scribe, Kindle Paperwhite, and my Kobo Libra Colour! I've made some videos on different platforms because I constantly get asked about my e-readers and what I like versus what I don't like. So yeah, I tried to make this video in-depth for you guys! Hopefully this helps you to decide on an e-reader if you've been thinking about getting one!

I’m fluent Spanish , French English
And French in kobo plus is amazing
I have a Kindle Scribe 1st edition, my eyes aren't bad but they aren't great, I like the larger font, I do some annotation , specifically Non Fiction, I did however, to learn the Scribe, annotate Anna Karenina. I don't have a lot of issues with the Scribe. It has improved considerably. Since this was my first e-reader I ever purchased, I'm kind of bias to it. I do hope the next iteration of the Scribe will have protections added i.e., water, dust, and shock resistance. It's my EDC with a protective sleeve of course.
Kindles in Canada cannot use Audiobooks as the Bluetooth has been disabled. Also in Canada, borrowing from public libraries is available from Libby/Overdrive on the Kobo system. Not available on Canadian Kindles.
I would love an annotation video! It seems so interesting to do and it would be so interesting to see what motivates you to do. Also thank you for the video :)
I’ll absolutely do an annotation video! I love seeing other people annotate their books, doesn’t even matter if they’re aesthetic or not. They always give me ideas for my own books!
@@thealexisnielsen Thank you! Can't wait to see what you do.
As I understand it, many (if not most) Kindle Unlimited books have an exclusive contract with Amazon and Kindle, so won't be legally available anywhere else. Not sure if Kobo have done a similar contract for Kobo Plus..
@@verydistractedreader thanks for commenting! I thought that and I know some authors do have exclusive contracts, but I was curious if it was with all the kindle books! Now I wonder if Kobo Plus has the same thing. I do like that I have different book options though!
@@thealexisnielsen Same, I use my Kobo Libra Colour as my daily driver, and my Kindle Paperwhite as a backup for the Amazon-only books. Again as far as I understand, it's only the Kindle Unlimited books that highly likely have an exclusive contract, not necessarily all Kindle books. But then again some Kindle books do, it's a complicated doozy and a half haha
