After completing their studies in 2013, Robert Špiler and Tjaša Štruc decided to build a little house on a forest clearing. In addition, they established a food garden and at the age of 22 began to live their simple life, hand in hand with Mother Nature.
They combine Tjaša’s academic knowledge (MA in Biology and Ecology) and Robert’s practical work in the gardens throughout Slovenia.

Another question, about compost. Could you do a feature about the way you compost your humanure? I use sawdust in my composting toilet and I find it difficult to manage. Do you compost it separately? What do you mix it with to make it less compact? Thanks a lot in advance!

You made organic so easy. I wonder why I dont see you any videos that use or make organic fertilizers? Is it possible to do organic gardening with just compost? And wood chips as mulching? Is that so simple

Hi. Always a pleasure to watch you two.
I am approximately at the same latitude as you in France (South Burgundy), and same altitude as well (300m). Could you give me your first and last frost dates, and your average low and high temperatures in January and July please?
Thank you and keep up the good work!
(and dont listen to all those people asking for videos in English, it is perfect like this!!)

Hi! Thank you a lot! :)
Last day of frost is around 15. 5. and the first day is in October. Our climate is 99% similar to Zagreb, so look at this table for more information: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zagreb#Climate

Mene zanima ali mora biti to kakšna posebna vrsta deževnikov ali je vse eno.
