There are so many local dishes you have to taste in Florence. Here's where we went and what we had! We put 'MUST GO TO ⭐' to the places and dishes we loved the most.
1) Lampredotto panino (street food) at L'Antico Trippaio in Piazza de Cimatori (MUST GO TO ⭐!).
2) Ribollita soup, Fiorentina steak with roasted potatoes and spinach (as a side dish), Chianti Classico wine, and cantucci (biscotti) with Vin Santo at Il Latini in Via dei Palchetti 6R (MUST GO TO ⭐!).
3) Budino di riso and cappuccino at Café Pasticceria Gamberini in Via Curtatone 4/6/8/10.
4) Tagliere toscano (Tuscan cheese, cold cuts, and patè), Chianti Classico wine, and schiacciata fiorentina (cake) at Trattoria La Casalinga in Via dei Michelozzi 9R.
5) Budino di riso with caffè schiumato (coffee with milk foam) at Caffé Paszkowski in Piazza della Repubblica 6 (MUST GO TO ⭐!).
6) Schiacciata (white pizza), frittelle di riso (rice pastry made during Carnival), and pan di pescatore (dried fruits and nuts cookie) at Cantinetta dei Verrazzano in Via dei Tavolini 18 (MUST GO TO ⭐!).
7) Crostini toscani (bread with different toppings) with Vernaccia di San Gimignano wine at Osteria Nuvoli in Piazza dell'Olio 15/r (MUST GO TO ⭐!).

@@LocalAromas yes, I ate many of the things you talked about, except for the Lampredotto panino because we didn't explore that area of Florence. I was aware of the street food, but because I didn't see them (out of sight, out of mind) I didn't remember to look for them. Lots of espresso, Tagliere toscano, and gelato every day!! Gelateria La Sorbettiera was our favorite gelato in Florence.
One of my favorite shops was Il Cantuccio di San Lorenzo. I bought many bags of cantucci home with me and they were the best!
