    Makes me SO proud! I was the first...very first...female MK in the USCG. Myself and one other woman "broke the mold" for females below deck. That was back in 1978. I made it to MK1 and the other female make it to Chief. Love seeing this. Congratulations!

    CWO Pryor... I couldn't have said it better myself. You have truly set the bar high for others to follow. You epitomize the CG's Core Values of Honor, Respect and Devotion to Duty. I would be proud to call you my shipmate at anytime and I would serve with you at anytime...proudly. Its obvious that you have made it through the ranks and learned very much along the way. Way to go shipmate...
    Very Respectfully~
    CWO Randy Litka

    Engineering in general is often seen as a "man's" job, so it's always good to see more women coming into the trade.

    • @everythingviral972
      @everythingviral972 4 года назад

      It's seen as a man's job because men like engineering quite a bit more than women do.

    Make this woman President! What she said was plain and simple common sense. If you have a chip on your shoulder or have certain negative views about someone because of their skin color or sexuality you better get over it quick. The military is a TEAM environment. No one man or woman can do it all. I've never served, but respect those that did. I've worked EMS all my life and let me tell you, if you don't fit in the team you will be out on your ass in a jiffy. We're a family and NO ONE gets between us and NO ONE is alone. I remember when 9/11 hit, people came together and really stood by one another because they were American and all are brothers and sisters. When we rolled out the house people actually MOVED instead of slamming on the brakes or just not caring to get out of our way. People would shake our hand and hug us. I knew that utopia wouldn't last but boy, it sure felt good. Now its back to us looking at other Americans with disdain and hate. CWO Pryor has got a fantastic head on her shoulders and I bet shes helped plenty of sailors.

      supposed to have a divers training program transfer over from the navy, for exploration, salvage, and coral reef investigative studies. Not sure when.
      gotta know if you are a
      Chevy or a Ford person
      (technical discriptionary purposes; otherwise a cross training portion needs to be developed for the lingo if your interested)
