    A lot of the media clearly just watch the RUclips highlights of niners games and that is the only reason Purdy isn’t getting the respect he deserves

    What is funny is that the Brock Purdy haters are moving the goalposts again. I am now hearing that it is all Shanahan, regardless of the talent on the team. Essentially, any QB and any weapons can score at a high level with Shanahan as the coach. Danny Parkins from Breakfast Ball said as much. Whatever they can say to justify their opinion that Purdy isn't good. So apparently Purdy now needs to to play without a coach and any weapons to be considered any good. Wtf are we even doing at this point?!?

      You’re not very observant1- Brock is better in every way- that’s why he was an Mvp finalist in his first full season.

      @@Paul-tp9yh no he is not when he didn't beat Jimmy out he got hurt and at that time CMC was there I don't like Jimmy but we have seen him do more with less

      @RandomGuyAgain 2 часа назад +4

      @@roemellobellyes he did beat Jimmy out. He had CMC for 6 games averaged ppg went from 22 to 25ppg. When Brock took over as a rookie it bumped to 34ppg as a rookie. And Jimmy threw 8 passes in the nfc title game. Raheem Mostert ran for 300 yards that game. Jimmy didn’t have less. I’d recommend going more research and not repeating other people’s talking points.

    People who say QBs are only good because of their weapons is annoying Becuase of pretty much any QB needs good to great weapons to win games and super bowls

    Brock is playing really well. People forget he has played a year and a half before this season. The haters are hating for clicks and attention. Just look at his tape.

    Analyzing purdy is like a Rorschach test. Many analysts and fans think if you aren't a josh allen or lamar jackson level athlete you can't be elite and praise prospects like trevor lawrence or anthony richardson because they can run or have big arms. They cannot fathom some smaller kid outperforming these high draft picks hero athletes. However, they do not have the aptitude to process defenses and throw accurately and on time which is by far the most important skill you can have as a QB. Does purdy have limitations? sure, he isnt super tall, he has smallish hands, he is a good runner but not elite, he has a mediocre arm, struggles in bad weather etc. He is not perfect and lacks many measurables that could hold him back from truly being the best ever like mahomes has the chance to be. But everything we have seen so far says he is an elite top 5 QB from an efficiency and production standpoint and is now doing it without "the avengers". It is going to be funny when the narrative flips and he is viewed like a drew brees type player as he is going to keep getting better, taking more control at the LOS and producing at the level he has. It is going to be impossible to deny his talent and abilities when he is leading the league in yard per attempt, passer rating, yards, completion percentage etc for the 8th consecutive year.

    Mark Sanchez had to give some positive about Purdy.

    QB play outside of Josh Allen has been extremely bad. Purdy is having a good season, even without CMC. Deebo, I'm always hurt and extremely overrated brandon aiyuk . Even mahomes struggling this year

    Brock purdy reminds me of tony romo so much. Not just his ability to extend plays and find the right guy and his accuracy, but with the narrative around him as a "guy who shouldnt be starting, basically undrafted" as well

    Brock is doing good but it’s really the paid players that are dropping the ball and not living up to their overpriced incomes. Namely Aiyuk and Williams. As good as they are Aiyuk has been a non factor and Willam’s for the first time I’ve been seeing people blowing right by him. It’s like they get money and all the sudden they forget or don’t care how to play.

    If u actually watch the games, Brock more than passes the eye test. The touch he gets on balls and the ability to create his own space to buy time to find his guy… maaaaan this dude pumps me up every time i watch!

    Brock Purdy is a decent QB on a great team. He will win a lot of games during his career. He will probably win a Super Bowl. He's solid. He doesn't turn the ball over a lot. But is he elite? Is he special? Can he carry a team on his back when things are not ideal? Can he match up with the likes of Mahomes, Allen, Rodgers, Burrow, Jackson, etc. in the clutch? So far, he hasn't made situational plays at crucial times when he's missing key playmakers and ends up losing even when he puts up numbers. What does this all mean? To me, he's perhaps the greatest game manager ever, but until he shows the clutch skills I'm talking about, I can't call him elite. My 2 cents.

      @davionnebrantley6609 52 минуты назад +2

      He always put his team in position to win…always. Whether that be a td or fg…his team lets him down a lot in the clutch tho

    • @ansonjackson6254
      @ansonjackson6254 45 минут назад

      @davionnebrantley6609 I feel you. Obviously I'm not knocking him, he's solid and consistent. I just wonder if he has the "special" gene that the QBs I mentioned have. Mahomes creates magic and makes the clutch plays no matter who he's throwing the ball to. I'm just pointing out that Purdy hasn't shown that kind of ability yet.

      49ers aren't great team anymore. This year offensive line is extremely bad. Also, defense has regressed, even Bosa not having a great year. Deebo Samuel is nothing more than the number 2 receiver and Brandon Aiyuk is a bum who's overpaid. Only players playing well are fred werner, Purdy , Mason and Jennings . They be lucky to win 6 games this year

    • @ansonjackson6254
      @ansonjackson6254 18 минут назад

      @johnniner8134 I'm not a niners fan, but I would be shocked if they win less than 10 games even if they're not full strength, just too much talent. But I would agree that another Super Bowl trip this year is unlikely without everyone being healthy, especially Mccaffrey.
