Many of the Cadbury chocolates are made in Tasmania with the best milk in Australia. As a teacher we would take the kids on excursions to the Cadbury factory. Lots of freebies during the tour and then the opportunity to buy cheap seconds.
Its so sad they have closed down the tours for the general public at the factory a few year ago 😥 But 100% agree the choc from there is so nice. Not at the same level as some European choclates, but really good as an any day type treat.
I think musk sticks are rosewater flavoured, like Turkish delight, but obviously very different in texture. We all grew up with them but you either love them or hate them. Fruit tingles are like a compressed fruit-flavoured sherbet, and you usually suck them for maximum tingle. Caramilk is caramelised white chocolate, where the sugar has been caramelised so it tastes like caramel but with the texture of chocolate.
You're right about Turkish delight but musk is its own thing and a common ingredient in perfume, which is why some people don't like it because they think it tastes like soap or perfume.
Dani is a natural at this! Relaxed, engaging with the questions she asks and comments she makes. Very poised and confident. You're not fooling us, Kevin. Dani was actually spot on about the musk sticks. It is a scent and is commonly used in perfumes, only Aussies use it as a flavour.🤷♀️ It originally came from the glandular secretions of deer. Because of cost and ethical standards it is now synthetically made from some sort of seed I think. Don't let her wear it as it was considered an aphrodisiac 😉😅

(I have my own weather station). The Sun set is another 8 plus hours. The next few days are 36 today, 38, 39, 37. Back in the 80's Adelaide was hit by a massive cloud dump. 100 mm (4 inches) of rain in 20 mins. The temp dropped from 44 C to 24 C in the same time period. Buildings with basements in the city centre flooded almost instantly. (I love it when the media spin (its a once in 100 yr event) and 10 yrs later the same thing happens. Turkish Delight comes in different flavours. (The type that isn't covered in chocolate) I was gifted some rose water flavoured Turkish Delight for Christmas. It was delish. When I was a kid (early 1960's) I would make straw sandwiches. Bread, butter and straws. The salt and vinegar straws are really good as well. Comfort snacks are good for the soul. Tim Tams come in many flavours now (15 last count). Australia has some of the best chocolate in the world.

Musk is an ancient perfume known best in the middle east. It has a smooth, gentle floral scent and flavour, which Aussies have been familiar with for a hundred years, but non-Aussies often find it too strange. It should grow on you if you persist.
Great vid as always. I'm surprised that no one made the comment that Australians do like grape flavoured items, it's just called wine here. Sorry, I'll see myself out. :P
