Up to half of the people police kill are having a mental health moment at the time and most are killed within feet of their homes, and often when family or friends call for help. I'm not saying you shouldn't call 911 is someone is seriously going to die, but you do not want to call 911 and have someone not make it because of this fact.
By not holding law enforcement accountable for thier actions, makes them untouchable and embolden to continue doing this!.. I never understand how a jury can decide a not guilty verdict smh
They looked at the evidence and decided that there wasn't enough to convict. Law enforcement was held to account, these guys went to trial and were cleared of wrongdoing.
If a family calls for an ambulance, why would police officers be sent to answer that call? That makes no sense. The family should definitely sue the city that is responsible for sending police officers instead of the requested ambulance.
@Curt-Gevert But does that mean the cops are supposed to use enough force to kill the patient that the paramedics were sent to assist? Also, why not let the paramedics at least see what is happening with the person before the cops start brutalizing him?

The thing is when my daughter had E coli sepsis in her bloodstream due to a urinary tract infection that she didn't realize she had, it costs similar symptoms to a paranoid schizophrenic and we were going crazy because she would not sleep for over a week straight she would stand up in the middle of the hallway and just stand there and stare into our room, I started getting worried that she might come in with a knife and stab us. We even took her to the hospital five different times prior to that because this whole ordeal was like 2 weeks in the making and then finally the last two days I found out she had a urinary tract infection sent her home and then she would not take the antibiotics obviously because she was going through like paranoid schizophrenic mentality and by the time the next day came she was already septic with E coli in her bloodstream. Finally they took her to the doctor same emergency room and the daytime doctor knew right away what it was when they found out she had a urinary tract infection the day before but by this time I had a scratches on my face from her she cut her finger she could have ran into someone's house and gotten killed by somebody all because the emergency room didn't want to do their job
