A honest description of the hat I received. I did pay for it myself. Any questions I can answer feel free to message me or leave in the comments below. Thanks for watching!
Hi Jamie i have a question im new to Boston scally Caps and my friend has a very cheap one its size 58cm it fits not Big just right so i ordered M/L i think probably the XL well be to Big
Great review!!! I was on the fence about buying a cap from these guys, like you said, can't tangibly feel or wear it before buying, but after seeing your excitement for the cap and full run down, I just ordered the Whiskey Cherry cap from them. Thanks for your review!
So yeah, based on this and very few existing reviews, I grabbed a scrappah as well, ordered Monday, got it today in Boston. They have no retail stores yet save for events where they’ll sell at a kiosk, so yeah, make sure you measure correctly - my dome came in at around the 24cm mark, which put me into an XL- good fit; pinch the brim a bit and it’s a lock. Quality - well it’s an almost 50 dollar hat when you add in shipping minus discounts etc, so while it feels a bit like a gamble, it’s really not once you have it in hand. It’s built well, good stitching and the material is very soft - kinda like those t shirt sheets. I own a few flat caps, mostly the traditional tweed/woolen types like Mucros of Galway - but this is a very modern spin on those classic designs. I have a feeling this will not be my last BSC.
Willy Pete thanks for commenting brother. Yea I was like $50?! But agree, in hand u can tell that it will last and isn’t made by the same standards of a mass production cap. Ur awesome!!!!!
I’m glad you’ve had a good experience but so far I’ve not had one
Bought my first three BS’s a few weeks ago. The Scrapper is one of them. Beautiful caps.

Good video, it would've been good to get a close up but can you tell me if the hat is made of wool? Thanks..
