i see a lot of people downplaying shisui cause he “lost” badly against a weaker danzo, but that’s in anime filler. the canon story in itachi’s light novel is that shisui was poisoned with bugs by the anbu from the aburame clan, paralyzing him (it is literally stated that he can’t move his legs), which gave danzo enough time to take one of his eyes and even explain to shisui how he paralyzed him. but then shisui still managed to escape with one eye, after being caught off guard, paralyzed and, consequently, fatigued from struggling to move his body for his life, with danzo and a bunch of anbu members chasing him. the fact that he managed to escape in those conditions to later give his remaining eye to itachi is quite impressive if you think about it.

Besides Juubidara, Kotoamatsukami is probably the most broken thing Kishimoto ever wrote. I don't know how you even write yourself into a corner like that.

Well I hope we get a Shisui clone in Boruto the same way we got a clone of another character. Even though it wouldn’t be the Shisui we know, it would at least give us more about his power, and what his full Susano’o abilities are, and weather or not he can spam Kotoamatsukami, and if the every 10 years was for someone who isn’t Shisui
They need a spin off both healthy man it would have been the most BRUTAL duo
If they both lived and trained for 25+ years, and Itachi had no illness / blindness, they would pretty much be top 5 strongest duo

@@Enja___ Madara without rinnegan is losing to Shisui 100%, not because of Shisui's prowess, just Kotoamatsukami. His genjutsu should work on anyone that doesn't have rinnegan minimum.

It's just sad that we never had the chance to see Shisui as a reanimated shinbo. Imagine how strong he'd be, along with Itachi
