wel i was running 48mm before with no real issues. Obviously for deep mud it can clog, I run 35mm for cyclocross and that's generally ok. The frame I have here is the V2, there is a little more clearance on the latest version which will fit a 50mm tyre
@@joshibbett Thanks Josh, mine's also a v2. For some reason I'd got the idea 45's weren't 'recommended', but I see it says up to 45. Reckon I'll go up a size then.
Hi, I love the video. I have picked up my Bokeh recently. What is your experience with putting a suspension fork on the bike, despite the geometry not being corrected for it? I like the idea of the more mainstream Fox and Rockshox forks, which come in similar travel as your Lauf one. Thank you
Lovely to meet you and say hello at registration Josh. I've been following your channel for a few years. Good luck with your next event.
Hi Josh - that green isn't the "Optic Green" of the current V3 model is it?
Lovely fork ;)
Sounds a good event, must have been bitterly cold🥶🥶🥶
Until the first climb yes!
How do you get on with 45’s on a bokeh? Seems like they’ll fit, but very little clearance for dirt/mud? Mines a 52cm if that makes a difference?

Great video! What size stem and bars are you running?
110mm stem and 44 bars
@@joshibbett did you get a chance to try the 60 and 62cm frame sizes? What felt better to you?

The Lauf work with the geo no problems at all. Not tried the Fox or Rockshox, but would be keen to give a set a go, or even the new cane creek
"tyre pressure wise, i have no idea to be honest"
I was under the impression it was a ride & not a race ?
It's definitely not a race.... but everyone was trying to go fastest ;)
