We will criticize anyone who speaks out against this guy because he’s black and at the same time we’ll refuse to hold Umar Johnson accountable also because he’s black. There is no school, it’s abandoned buildings, he tricked off the money on his lifestyle, traveling, and potentially his personal debts, he legally can’t raise money in the state of Pennsylvania, he’s failed to do “ the white mans “ paperwork on several occasions that would have helped him push toward the opening of the school, he stated on video renovations were complete while still asking for money for hvac ,roof repair and other things, theres several videos and pictures from the local residents showing the buildings are still in a state of disrepair,there’s been several stated opening dates that have all come and gone, they don’t even have a website, the sham is getting crazy at this point

As a civil engineer I’m very perplexed with how this has played out. I met Dr Umar at the 25 year anniversary of Million March and have championed his cause. But after watching 10 years of interviews and seeing his progress it’s clear this school won’t be opening. I've physically seen the outside of the school. The school is not happening. My pops have his own HVAC company and trust me is does not take long to install duct work, but overall a project of this magnitude should not take this long.

Lord Jamar offered Umar help. He offered the expertise and counsel of his father-in-law who built an independent school from scratch in Brooklyn. Umar blew up. He told him he didn't want any help. Doc exposed himself in that interview with Lord Jamar. And to your words that Nomadically Speaking should go to Delaware to see the school for himself, there is no need for that. Doc has shown the inside of the bandos. There are other RUclipsrs who have shown the outside. These buildings are barely standing up. It would take millions to renovate them. They are just props for your man to get more donation money from your pockets.

He tried to have professionals help with renovations/building and they stole from him or never showed up.. these were black owned businesses btw. Also, he’s reached out to multiple black celebrities and successful entrepreneurs.. not a single donation reported. He doesn’t want any outside help, he wants the school funded by our ppl, for our ppl. He doesn’t want white corporations loaning him anything, that’s a control tactic. On top of that, he’s dealt with being turned away from better schools to buy once they found out who he was. Ppl look at the 10 years and question his progress, but they always fail to realize what he’s up against. He’s fighting the system and helping black boys, you think the powers that be will allow that easily?? You’re talking about getting on track but clearly you don’t understand how he operates and what he stands for. Every suggestion you gave goes against his principles for building the school so how much have you really followed and supported him? You say ppl will be more involved if he showed more. The guy goes on live at the school on multiple occasions and ppl still criticize. Black ppl love putting our ppl under the biggest microscope.. all while not doing a single thing to help the cause.
I think we have to learn how to be criticized especially when we are the center of attention. Your response is that all the black people have ripped him off so that’s why he is having issues? That opens up another conversation because there are contracts that keep you from losing money as it relates to construction/work. I think you proved my point that Umar just needs some assistance and help because if his arguments are in alignment with yours, that’s victim mentality energy and we don’t subscribe to that.

He recovered and is continuing renovations as you mentioned. Nothing about him his victim mentality, he’s the complete opposite if anything. He wants to build this with his people and only his ppl. Saying he can’t get it done just bc you think you have an idea of what it takes to open a school is disingenuous. Especially when you haven’t done thorough research on his process. I’m all for criticism. But to mention solutions that goes against his principles just shows that you’re not understanding what’s going on. And have you reached out to him personally or you just expect him to find your help on this page? If you really want to put your money where your mouth is, pull up to the school and do business. It’s easy to say what you’ll do with an empty crowd. You’re so secure, take that chance and go make a difference w the man. Go see what’s really going on then come give the ppl a real review.

In closing: Umar is a leader for sure but he doesn’t understand real estate. People don’t work for free and should not because money was donated to finish school. Lonewolf behavior will never lead to great things. At the rate he’s going this school won’t open for another 10 years. Anyone watching this video with a spiritual over standing can see the entertainment and message conveyed. Regardless of who’s at fault the kids will not get a school in our lifetime at this point.

There's no "shame in asking for help, it's not who donates or helps, it's the right teachers that are going to make the difference, you're making this about your ego.
I don’t think he’s ever asked for help but when he does the community will be there to assist. Donations isn’t help though, it’s a crutch and deadline extender … he need a real team of professionals
This has absolutely nothing to do with the teaching staff that doesn’t exist because much like the school itself. It doesn’t exist and he’s a con artist. Stop daydreaming and wake up.
