Thank you so much for your great interview with Super Hook. The 3 of you are fantastic and the quality of your interviews is outstanding. Turning an interview into an amicable chat is not that easy. Besides.......now I know that I am no longer alone.....Peter Hook and I will never win a Nobel in Geography 🙂Who cares????? Thanks again and best wishes! Giorgio 🙂
@vaseofflowers4619 It should be pointed out that the use of such ‘stimulants’ can also lead to bouts of deep depression, paranoia, schizophrenia, corrosive sexual absolutism and the desire to listen to old Danny Kaye records …
Post Punk is a recent term. At the time, New Wave was an umbrella term covering everything that came in the wake of punk. But Post Punk is the more accepted term today.
Man I love Peter Hook, but somebody gotta tell him Joy Division wasnt as influential as the Sex Pistols. I like JD better and think they are def in my top 10 favorites but the wave brought in from The Sex Pistols took the world by storm. Joy Division is some amazing sneaker though...
Don't know about influential (JD itself coming to be because of a Sex Pistolas concert); but, when it comes to the quality of their catalog, Joy Division can run circles about the Sex Pistols all day long… like, it's not even close.
Peter Hook speaks so well - it's a pleasure to listen to him
Australia was the first place New Order played Blue Monday live
Great interview, I've worked with Peter since 2010 when the light first toured Australia. Lovely man.
A great interview guys. I could listen to Hooky all day! Top fella.

Thank you so much, Giorgio. Kind words indeed.
Thanks for this. Lovely interview, and Hooky was gracious
But a bit dodgy on his geography …
Great interview. Been a joy div fan for many years.always cool to see hooky chatting. Woody. Cape town . South africa
JJ! Yes!!!!!
Guy on our left 1st one looks like Peter hook coincidentally
Haha, I think the same thing
Very interesting interview
Great interview guys. And what a lovely, down to earth man, Peter is.
Thanks. He was the perfect interviewee.
I saw joy division support the stranglers at the rainbow in 1980. JD were early so I suppose they didn't meet.
I stayed with Hooky after the divorce with NO
So did I. Saw NO twice back in 1984 and seen Hooky 6 times, he's great
I stayed with both
Interesting enough. Strange that he describes Alderley Edge as being in Manchester … er, it’s in Cheshire.
I thought the same. But I'm not going to take issue with Hooky on Mancunian geography. And I've only been there as a tourist so what do I know? Haha
@an-alternative-contrarian5047 Bit early in the morning for all this, innit?
@vaseofflowers4619 doesn’t he know there’s a war on …?

Top bloke Hooky!
Im still seeking for the Portsmouth Studio Sessions, no-one heard of it ?
Take it away hooooky!
Hooky looking like he’s in the Playboy mansion with his open shirt and transplanted hair!
What's the instrumental from 0:00 to 0:28?
Patrick was in a band in Melbourne in the 80's called Untitled Red. It's an instrumental of theirs called Ephemeral.

Channeling Timmy mallet
@@iaingeddes4288lol...norti boi !
is the guy on the far right Begby from Trainspotting?
No it's Dennis Hopper
Shit it does looks like him. Robert Carlyle I think his name is
the bloke on the left of the 3 looks exactly like peter hook is he related?
No, I'm not a relative. But I'll take that as a compliment.
whats the story with meeting george best?
Post Punk ? it was called New Wave, punk, ska ,mod, not post punk
Post Punk is a recent term. At the time, New Wave was an umbrella term covering everything that came in the wake of punk. But Post Punk is the more accepted term today.
@@KnownPleasuresPodcast What was wrong with New Wave wide sweeping term .
All off the back of Ian. Lucky man.
I didnt enjoy the bbc doc..as muuch as this interview
Thank you. (That quote is going on the poster. haha) I haven't seen the BBC doco but looking forward to it.
Unfortunate glasses.
Sport is childish & irrelevant. Don't talk about it, it's boring.
