A lot of the previous major winners, world no 1s etc. are now playing on the LIV tour, he is competing in a highly depleted field. With the exception of Augusta he only wins on US "resort style" TPC courses, (arguably Augusta is resort style, just the hardest of that style on earth), he play poorly on courses not like that (e.g. Pinehurst). He has never won the fedex cup, which is by its intention a measure of year long performance. Never won more than twice back-to-back, Byron nelson has 11 streak, Tiger had a 7 and a 6 streak. Does not even make the leaderboard for wins in a season (no point starting it at less than 8) He is in a rich vein of form, but he has a mountain of achievements to overcome before he should be discussed in the same voice as Tiger, Jack, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan and a host of other legends of the game.
A very informational and fascinating video you made, showing his records and the rise of his career. Scottie is my favourite golfer alongside Bubba Watson :)
Scottie will soon lose steam and fall into the pack line the rest. We will see him win once or twice a year going forward. Every player always has a hot year. Especially household name players
