“Single segment” is what speedruns are supposed to be. The real world time to beat the game should be measured. Building speed runs from segments is cheating, because it takes much time IRL.
Your comment makes no sense. All speedruns are non segmented. If they are segmented they should be catagorized as such. What's more interesting about this run is the no-saves.

i remember watching Half Life in 20:41 for the first time and being astonished, at a loss for words. ,ow seeing the whole thing done by ONE person all in ONE segment and ending up only 7 min behind that video is whole other level of astonishment. Unholy sacrements must have occured for one man to have all that power.
I now remember that in childhood, when I started playing halflife, I spent about six months completing it. This was the first shooter I played using a computer mouse, and it was very difficult to play. The speed in this video and the accuracy of the movements is amazing.
Last night I started watching this video and at like minute 22 I started falling asleep, not because I was bored but I was overwhelmed by all the things that was happening at the same time, as a fan of hl1 who has beated the game at least three times with playtimes ranging between 8 to 12 hours watching this was nuts, congratulations men
