ASU fan here and watched the whole game. We lost that game because our players were acting like fools and shifted the momentum completely. Gotta be smarter guys but we played great though
By the letter of the law, hitting a player in the head it's a flagrant. Can't cry about that. Phillips gets T'd up and so did Bona, but Phillips keeps chirping at refs and gets another. Can't cry about that. Another guy fouls Mack and then head-butts him. Can't cry about that. And the next guy was talking trash after fouling. His player's lack of control falls squarely on him.
I love seeing Bobby Hurley melt down. He's a hot head and if he can't keep himself under control how does he expect his players to control themselves. Typicam Hurley team lacking disciplined. Love seeing him go ballistic
Hurley feels the pressure of not winning, knowing his days are numbered. Who in the hell starts out at a press conference like this, no eye contact and acting nutty... Be a coach and take it like a man...
UCLA missed half of those technicals or the score would've been worse. Pac-12 refs have always sucked but players can't talk back to them if they've been given a warning. UCLA is the youngest team in the Pac-12 and they were able to keep their cool better than ASU.
Egregiously one sided refs as far as the technicals go. Unreal. How many times did they go to the line for FOUR STRAIGHT FTs??? Three times? Changed the game. Terrible. Screwed those kids
This is why the Pac-12 is going away… Absolutely the worst officiating of any league, ZERO quality control by league supervisors of the clown show in stripes. These officials should NOT be retained next year by the Big 12 or the Big 10. Even the MWC or WCC shouldn’t accept them! I’m not even an ASU fan or UCLA hater, I’m BYU. But this is the sort of crew that will make BYU coach Mark Pope slam a plastic water bottle on a media table!
All of you commenters and your coach need to watch the replay of the game, your players were out of line clearly the calls were appropriate, I agree pac-12 officiating is horrible but every technical that was called on you guys was justified, take off your rose colored glasses and watch the tape
Yeah I'm sure ASU were the only ones talking. And how about the "possession" when Gafney was bobbing the ball to give UCLA an extra possession or the incredibly blatant foul on the Adam Miller dunk that wasn't called? These refs must have been throwing this game. No other explanation.
@@milesrevenge I watched it. I didn't agree with the flagrant on the foul on Stefanovich but ASU got legit technicals on themselves and jawing after you get 1 tech so you get thrown out is on the dumb player, not the ref. Then Chest bumping Mack to get another tech. Own your part ASU
