    O-line and D-line is what’s holding this team back from being what Prime wants them to be. It definitely and will be improved in the offseason.

      Yup and to many penalties just hurting themselves fr , hate that Shedeur keeps taking sacks

    • @atkascha
      @atkascha Год назад +58

      100%
      you also have to remember its a young team. there are very few juniors/seniors and the ones that are, is because of the COVID year off. the way the team was built in the offseason were kids that weren't seeing playing time at other schools (3rd string at an ACC / SEC school), smaller school transfers, or are brand new freshmen. its just lack of being "battle tested" and nerves, all mental.
      O/D-line will be improved next year as Coach and staff are going to recruit hard for that, probably already are. Shedeur is responsible for some sacks (he hangs on to the ball a little too long for my liking... sometimes) but probably 23 of the 30 sacks this season have been due to O-line. D-line showed up tonight but they've already given up like 600+ yards rushing this season

      it's one thing if they don't have the best talent on the o-line yet.. but there's no excuse for the effort they give sometimes.. I can't count how many times they don't go pick up a teammate or just stand there after missing a block.

The difference is he manages their appearance better. Prime also knows the media aint his friend. They've put him on a pedestal. But that's for now. the defense is doing the best they can with the personnel they have. when the starters need a rest the backups are a hugedropoff. Rebuilding a team takes time.

    He's dealing with a group of players who've only been together for a short while and want to be there because of him. There's no REAL connection to the school, the histiry, the students, the town, and not even the team. Those relationships need time to develop. He'll get there.

      I love CU and I'm from Alabama and am an AL fan as well, most of the players have no connection to my state nor school yr in and yr out . That said I think it's more about skill than history. I work for a company I don't own, their history has not much connection to me, but now that I'm there, I care about their future.

    There was a point where Sheduer trucks the defender and no one got hype about or helped him up. That's not it...more dawgs are needed and I'm talking about in the hearts...

    He knows most of these guys are not pros. That's what he's said before. This is a coaching trick he's doing. The team does need to get better. You lift the team up when they lose, because they are already feeling down. You bring them back to reality when they win, because they will get a big head.
