Cuphead FAQ:
1. What are your favorite bosses?
A: I like unique bosses that have a lot to them. Bosses like Phantom Express, Beppi the Clown, Glumstone the Giant, Esther Winchester, and Chef Saltbaker are my top picks in Cuphead.
2. What are your favorite weapons?
A: Easy for me; Roundabout and Spread. Both weapons are amazing and work for pretty much every boss in the game, but I do like many of the other weapons too. Charge, Crackshot, and Lobber are also very fun weapons and great to use.
3. What are your favorite charms?
A: Smoke Bomb is easily one of the best charms in the game and you can't ever go wrong using it, but there are many other fun and better charms to use in the game. Ms. Chalice is a great character and charm to change up how you play the game, Divine Relic is straight up broken for plane levels, and Heart Ring is extremely exploitable and practically guarantees S Ranks. Coffee is also one of my personal favorites since I love to spam EX's rather than using Supers.
4. What do you think about the Cuphead Show?
A: I think it's a good show overall, but I do see problems with the show. It's a bit too much of a children's show rather than a show everyone can seriously enjoy. It spells out everything for you rather than using your own senses to follow the story, and that makes the show not as engaging and interesting as it could be.
5. What do you think is the hardest boss?
A: That can vary depending on someone's skills, strengths and weaknesses, and the difficulty mode. The overall toughest bosses to beat in the base game are Wally Warbles, Cala Maria, Dr Kahl's Robot, and King Dice. Again, these completely depend, more often than not, on the weaknesses of you as player, like your dodging skills on Dr Kahl and Wally Warbles, and your parrying skills on King Dice. The hardest bosses come more from the DLC in my opinion, as they are much more unique, and all have interesting quirks that give them their own sense of difficulty. Chef Saltbaker is for the most part considered the hardest boss in all of Cuphead, as it seriously tests all your skills and proficiencies as a player, while bosses like Esther Winchester and Mortimer Freeze have their own problems that make them some of the hardest bosses in Cuphead.
6. What do you think is the hardest Run 'n Gun?
A: This largely depends on your skill as a player, but Perilous Piers is widely considered the hardest Run 'n Gun in Cuphead. I don't personally have many problems with any of the Run 'n Guns honestly, but Perilous Piers does challenge you in a way most of the other Run 'n Guns don't, so I'm inclined to agree. There is a plethora of ways to make Run 'n Guns easier, so it leads to Run 'n Guns being much more subjective than objective.
7. What do you think is the easiest Run 'n Gun?
A: Luckily this question is much easier to answer; Treetop Trouble. It's the easiest Run 'n Gun overall by all standards, with or without charms, and with or without weapons. I personally believe not only is Forest Follies harder and more RNG dependent, but Funhouse Frazzle would also be the NEXT easiest Run 'n Gun in the game before Forest Follies. I would recommend checking out my video "How to EASILY P Rank EVERY Run 'n Gun in Cuphead" if you want to know how I approach each Run 'n Gun, as well as check out my Run 'n Gun tier list Shorts series for more clarification.
