This is fun, I watch your video every now and again when I have free time and slowly I start to pick up words. I listen to a lot of Irish music and I'm able to pick out words in the songs too, makes the listening experience better. Thank you, hope you're doing well x
I didn't know the difference between 'saor' and 'saor in aisce'. So, the 'in aisce' phrase means ' for nothing ' as in 'obair in aisce' - work that resulted in nothing, and 'saor in aisce' means literally ' free for nothing'? i.e. no cost.
I just decided to learn Irish, I love Enya's voice and music, thanks for your content, it's going to be my main resource for now.
You’re welcome 😊 go raibh maith agat for choosing me 🤗

Níl an tsaoirse saor in aisce, mar a deir na Meiriceánaigh.
