Gallery glass does have premade lead strips that you just cut and press where you want them. I’m not really a “trendy” person. My rule is to surround yourself with what makes you feel good.
Staple foam board in 4 corners and 1 in the middle to your backslash before putting on sticky tiles, it also gives it a real 3 d look. Or use hardboard wood or thin sheet of drywall, use thin nails aka penny nails, and place in the 4 corners and 1 or 2 in the middle. Then you can put whatever sticky or lightweight tiles you want on it without any sticky residue or damage to the walls whatsoever. Use the hardboard wood sheets or thin drywall sheets to cover walls as well to whatever decor u want, real wallpaper, paint, sticky wallpaper etc. You can use painters tape, masking tape, calking or even drywall tape and filler for the seams. The hardboard wood comes in 45" by nearly 8' sheets for less than $15 as well as the drywall sheets. Point, the tiles and self stick wallpaper does leave residue often times and you can't use it on flat paint and if high gloss paint has any imperfections, they will peel the paint off. You can also use the hardboard wall wood to cover your floor if you want to tile the floor. Just lay it flat down, seal the seams with hot glue set on low temp. That seals it and will peel up without any damage when you move. Also could use particle wood cut to size and just laid down flat. Even just plastic sheet to cover the floor. Basically, cover the wall or floor with a protective bearer before attempting any diy coverings. Do not do it directly on the surfaces without your landlords written approval.
I've been in my country/cowgirl phase for a bit now so I definitely welcome the new western home decor trend. Maybe I'm gonna try your hanger board idea, it's really cute!
I did the staineglass window 25 years ago in our hexagon bathroom window. A few secrets is steady pressure. For me, the smaller bottles work best. Both of those reasons are why your hand was hurting. Have a small needle to help spread the paint, and less paint is best. Start practicing, and you'll get the hang of it.
I loved the ottoman that is my favorite color ❤ I think I will be incorporating more cowboycore just because I love highland cows and have several pictures already in my home! Great video
I used the Gallery Glass kit to decorate my transom windows above two bedroom doors. I had the same problem, and was squeezing until my hands hurt! Later, I found you can buy the black "lead" lines already made. Too late for me, but the windows are still looking pretty almost 30 years later.
Use plexi glass cut to the size you want. Decorate how you wish. Attach to the window with thin line or 4 corner dots of clear hot glue. It'll come right off when your ready without any residue color left behind. It also makes it more realistic if using it on an entire pane and just seal the seams as mentioned acalling. The same method as if you're using calking. Use the sticky black lines for a more professional appearance before coloring with the paint.
@L.J.H.-sg6eb most of the time I don't. I like watching people decorate their homes, apartments or condos. It doesn't influence me to follow a "current trend" though
You're talking about red in the decor. You could use a barn red in your bedroom, not Crayola red, and I think it will work and look super current without having to buy something new. Maybe in a picture, you have a hint of red, or in a pillow a little strip, or a throw with a little barnyard red. I think your bedroom will definitely look great with hints and not big pops of the red.
Great video. I am really interested in the brand of staple gun you are using. It looks like it is so easy to press down the lever. This has always been a problem to push down with one hand while holding the project with the other hand. I am 73.
I think the ottoman looked great, I've reupholstered a lot of items and watched a lot of you tubers do so as well and they cut around the legs and it didn't look professional as yours looked. I also never cut around mine, I didn't like the look. I never used fringe. I always used a braid or something. One reason was cost, and the other was the look. My opinion is you can't see the legs on yours it almost looks like it is floating. Just my opinion and only that.
'Cowboycore'? Sorry, no. Horsemanship is a way of life, not a decorating trend. I'll happily wave 'BYE' to the gaudy gold and brass. Gunmetal, steel, pewter, and hematite are (and always have been) my preferred metals. The 60s and 70s can keep their Avocado and Harvest Gold. Grew up with those, don't need to see them again.

The ottoman turned supercool! And very neat 😊

I love red and have sprinkled it throughout our home for a few years now it’s my favourite colour

I love the ottoman! Orange velvet is beautiful! Well any velvet!
It turned out so well!
I usually don't pay mind to trends, but this year the trends seem to be my aesthetic! I love the stool you DIY'ed. So cool!

I like your creativity ❤
Fun video. I absolutely love the diy stool.

Amazing display of the trends! ❤ I must find that staple gun. Been needing to put cushions on my dining room chairs. You make it look so easy! 🥰
I like curvy orange velvet...but no fringe. Love the color drenching!
Everything turned out so gorgeous! You are so talented! Love your style! 🫶
I love all these trends!
The cow skull hooks are surprisingly cute.
That ottoman is gorgeous! Love the colour and the fringe!
I loved the ottoman, it turned out so good!❤
WHAT A CUTE SHIRT! WHERE DID YOU GET IT?
Love your creativity. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully you don’t let the negative comments bother you. ❤
I have always loved stained glass and love the idea of creating window clings, so I hope to give that a try.

@ thank you!!
Avocado green was big in the 60’s
I don’t follow trends. Never have. I’ve always decorated the way I choose
Me too! 😉
But, do you not like the so-called trends at all? All of them?
@L.J.H.-sg6eb most of the time I don't. I like watching people decorate their homes, apartments or condos. It doesn't influence me to follow a "current trend" though
The ottoman was my favorite but this video has so many great ideas! I couldn't get your Craftsy link to work.

The rusty orange velour stool w fringe is def 1970’s RETRO!!
Yes~fringe is always a good idea! However, the skulls of dead animals are horrible for your feng shui.
The ottoman!
You are wearing it
You look like Tiffany Trump
Color drenching for sure.

Neat ideas ..not into velvet...not into " new" colors either . I more of a mismatched country, cottage decor.
Honestly trends can be fun but also super annoying.
Man muss nicht jeden Trend mitmachen. Bleib du selbst und entwickle deinen eigenen Stil.

😂😂😂 agreed!!
Do not like the curvy furniture trend at all..
Me neither. At all.
