    Welcome back! I love your videos :) As a UXR myself, I like hearing your thoughts. Just so you know, the link brings it up in presentation format (which is nice to see) but not a download.

    Thank you, Tiffany! it is surprising to learn that do not put too much focus on research insight, as i orinally thought insight is the highlight, like it is more about what u get than what you do. love to learn more about how u think.

      Hi Yuhaoying! That's a great call! Yes - Remember that UXR case study aims to show and tell your research approach and process. Your hiring manager is not interested in the actual insights. You can even hide the actual insights (in most cases I blur out the insights or generalize it due to non-disclosure agreement). However, what I think IS important is HOW those insights were used by the team and what kind of impact they made. Did they result in your product team switching directions? Did they cause any meaningful conversations by the leadership?
      If you are creating shareout presentations for your team (for work, not for applying for a new job), then I totally agree - Insights are #1 important thing for your stakeholders.
      Hope that helps! Great question. :)

    Hi, Tiffany 🎉
    Thanks a lot for sharing the information. I am a UX/UI Designer and I want to make transition to a UX Researcher role, how do you think is it logically, thinking about income, etc?
    Thanks in advance for your answer

    • @Tifffster
      @Tifffster  Месяц назад +1

      Hi Anna! Honestly, in the brutal job market we're in right now, I'd personally suggest you stay in the Designer route... I can't believe I'm saying this now, but it's the reality. So many UX Researchers are being laid off, but at least designers are considered more business critical.
      I highly suggest that you work on research-related skillsets though - You're already doing great watching research content and seeing how you can grow! That's awesome. Unfortunately, what I'm seeing more and more is that companies are running out of budget, now they're looking for designers who can do research too... This is not ideal and it's bad news for people like me. However, it can be an opportunity for you! You already have design skills, but adding research to your skillsets can help make you a more marketable designer.
      Great question, and best of luck!
