I bought this mixer last week and really like it, only complaint is getting into and coming out of the pad modes are fiddly especially as I set cues for scratch bank sounds and when I try to get back to last loaded tune I need to literally load it onto the deck again. Also, I often find myself entering gate cue mode which i will never use. - this is annoying. Apart from that I really like it, I set it up with my 1210s and Phase for a classic feel and have an XDJ XZ on the side. I think its 100/200 euros more expensive than it could be - its missing small details like marker points on volume, gain, eq knobs etc - not the end of the world but once you notice they arent there you cant seem to un-notice it : ) Overall a good mixer, I use it in my bedroom, I have been DJing since 1995 but this does a great job for me for home use and thats it. I also stopped paying for a monthly Rekordbox DVS sub and just switched to Serato
It’s an incredible mixer. I use this over the s7 because of size. I’m a scratcher so.. and wax and wav. DJ. This thing is incredible. Screens are distracting and ultimately will ruin you as a DJ in your mixing ability. You will count on that too much. In my personal experience, I have noticed this. This came out six years ago now it’s 2024. And it’s extremely relevant.
Acabo de actualizar el FIRMWARE y al parecer se soluciono, pero sigue un leve retraso después de usar los FX I have a delay between the headphones and the master, do you know how to solve this problem?
Thanks for the review! Does the fact that its Bus-powered mean the output sound quality is reduced? maybe this mixer should have been priced a bit lower for what it offers. I think i would probably buy a second hand S9 over this if i was a beginner. also the window for the crossfader would have been cooler if you could actually see the crossfader move!
Hey DJ Rohan, thanks for your comment! I didn't hear any bad sound quality, but I wasn't playing the mixer through any large sound system. I think you would be very lucky to find a second hand DJM-S9 for the price of this mixer!
@@djkit Yes i can, in many ways. DJ Generation of these days are the age that they watched teletubbies in the past. Second the toys are more important than the skills. Im more oldskool and like the technics 1200's with a dateq XTC mixer, maybe not perfect for scatching so a bit off topic. Junk. After junk after junk. Why does it seem like Pioneer releases a new gadget every month. Pioneer already has a few good products outhere. Why the bombardment of repetitive units that do the same thing. Nothing new or effective in my perspective.

What would you like to see from Pioneer DJ George?
hipster mixer
Because of the colours?
No because of the USB type c and very expensive for this mixer
@@aarondavidson6060 are you aware every phone cable will be USB C by 2024?
No but this is mixer and are you in love with him
