This update is a joke because of April Fools, because the textures changed a lot, especially the interface, what characterized pizza tower was the expressions of the characters, but now only a TV appears with your character and the dots are no longer on TV. a pizza and there is also like a timer I don't know so too the toppins move weird I always played the game but I didn't think they would change almost everything
Im not sure what you're getting at, sure the iconic face hud is gone, but it's kept intact because the tv changes channels based on whatever transformation you have, which keeps the charm of said face hud
i honestly don't agree with the idea of the heat meter. if you're trying to get through the level fast, chances are you'll kill a lot of enemies. meaning that if you ever slow down you'll have a hard time trying to speed up because the enemies would just be super aggressive. i don't even know if it's just there to make the game harder, or it actually gives a bonus. i feel like if the heat meter had a few changes though, it would be fine.
The more you fill it up, the more points killing an enemy gives you, but you also lose more points whenever you take damage. While I don't agree with your opinion, I can understand and respect it. Personally I feel this was a good change since I got sick of the enemies being pushovers

The new element of bringing the janitor to the door to unlock the room makes the escape sequences so much more intense
The only disappointing part is that taking the treasure makes you instantly win.
And makes it similar to keyzer from Wario Land 4

It's the heat meter
Basically if you kill a lot of enemies the bar will start filling and the enemies will be more aggresive towards you
