    William the Conquerer does it again! Best on the Net. My order arrived on Monday - all parts in-stock, perfectly-packed, and delivered in half the time expected. I've got three airheads and Boxer2Valve has earned a lifetime buyer.

      Merci pour vos aimables commentaires. Bien que 2020 ait entre-temps pris une mauvaise tournure, je crois que notre amour pour ces motos nous transportera au-delà de cela.

    For brake bleeding you have to push the brake fluid with a siringe from the left bleeder towards the brake pump and the air will go out thru the brake pump. It works for me on every bike...

      Hi, Those are K100 RS or K75 S Handlebars, the early version, which are narrower than the later version.

    Nice video ! I miss the information about the compensationbore in the mastercilinder. It's is the small bore next to the larger bore in the master cylinder. If that is not open, the break will not release. I had that last week....... .

    hello i have the T set-up and i have a big issue. First it runs fine but when i break, it does not release the pressure... after 5 min of use it gets stiffer and stiffer till the point the front wheel gets blocked completely. Any guess on what am i doing wrong?
    I did change the oil, disassemble and clean the master cylinder, disassemble and clean both break units and install new pistons (original brembo). only old thing seems to be the line.

    Awesome Guys..great to see you back William.. I do not have vacuum to bleed brakes. Is it possible to still do the old way as in just using the lever. As I have know changed my brake lines to the same way as you have? Or do I need vacuum?

    • @boxer2valve
      @boxer2valve  5 лет назад +2

      Hi Steven, You don't absolutely need a vacuum bleeder, it just makes the process easier and quicker. You can also use the brake lever but it would then be very helpful to have an assistant to because pumping the lever while keeping the reservoir topped off and opening and closing the bleeder will require more than two hands but it's definitely possible!

    Thanks William for this episode. Your video's are very help-full for me. One question, what kind of solvent do you use for cleaning the parts?

    • @boxer2valve
      @boxer2valve  5 лет назад +3

      Hi Gerhard, We use a mineral based solvent from Safety Kleen however that requires having a service with them. I have had great results with a product called B'laster Parts washer solvent and that is available in one gallon cans.

    Always informative. I'm restoring a r100s and i need parts but i find freight from usa to Australia expensive compared with England. Any thoughts on alternative would be appreciated thanks garry

      Freight to Australia is unfortunately expensive. Nonetheless, we do send many packages to Australia! We can ship quickly and have almost everything in stock at all times.

    Have you ever tried reverse bleeding by pushing fluid in through the left caliper with a fluid syringe and forcing the air/fluid out the right caliper and then up into the master cylinder?

    • @boxer2valve
      @boxer2valve  5 лет назад +1

      Hi, That's a very good idea and it would probably work, however I have not tried it that way. One concern might be that when the bleeder nipple is loosened, some air might be able to pass by the threads on the outside of the nipple.
