'carrot cake' is made of radish which the Chinese call white carrot or just carrot. They call the usual carrot 'red carrot'. Have you tried lndian restaurants or Mamak(Indian Muslim) restaurants ? They offer vegetarian dishes too.
How interesting, I never would have guessed that it was radish! We do like Indian food, but it’s hard to find Indian food that doesn’t have ghee in it, because we are vegans, we don’t eat ghee (or any other animal products, including honey, dairy, eggs and meat), otherwise we would go to Indian restaurants a lot.

What navigator app do you guys use? I am wondering whether the app is helping you guys or you are bullying the app. 🤣. The road you took seems so remote.
🤣🤣😂 the navigator is constantly interrupting us! 😂 in that video we were using waze, but sometimes we use google maps, because in different regions of Malaysia one app usually works better than the other, so we switch between the two.
It's sarsaparilla. That particular brand was a favorite of my late grandfather, who lives in Merlimau, where you were. Back in the 70s n 80s we serve the drink especially on hari raya. The brand have other flavours too orange and my personal favourite, ice cream soda
There is a delay in our videos because we have to edit them and then we need a decent internet connection to upload them, we often don’t have a good internet connection when we are travelling in rural areas, so we are actually already on the east coast, but we still have another video from the west coast to upload before we start uploading east coast videos 😂
3:48 Those are 1950s/1960s drinks, right down to the bottle design, that are making a comeback, for whatever reasons.
I see, they do look very 1950s/60s, very unusual flavour.
Watching from Melaka, Malaysia 🇲🇾🌺
Awesome! Thank you for watching 😊
Toyah can get local name... which is "Joyah" 😁
I love it! 💖
A lot of monkeys = to lots of scrap rubbish. I think that UFO tune should have been added when you were at the Pink building street!😂😅
Yes, we did see a lot of rubbish most places where we saw monkeys!
The UFO tune would suit the pink street well 😂
Thank you for this video. Wonderful.
Thank you for watching again 😁😁

You guys have been to more back roads and remote places than most locals from the cities. Hope to do the same someday. Keep having fun.
Yes, we prefer the remote places, we have never lived in a city and find them a bit hectic and stressful 😂
Enjoy your travel!
Thank you 😊
