Dear Toyah and Murray, my name is Roy and I am June's son. I have visited Malaysia many times and I do really enjoy your videos. The towns, beaches and countryside are beautiful, the people are very helpful and friendly, and the food is great. Your shows remind me of all the great times I was there.I took my mother there too (thisi is her account, but she doesn't use computers much). She really enjoyed the place too. Thanks for the videos! A plesure to watch !
Hi Roy, thank you for your nice comment 😊 we agree, it is a beautiful country, the people are very friendly and helpful, and we love the food! We have had such a great time in Malaysia, it’s so welcoming and there are so many different, beautiful and amazing things to explore. We are glad that you enjoy our videos and thank you for watching them 😁 Say hi to June for us 👋
hello Toyah and Murray, greetings from the UK, loved seeing your trip to Paradise Island Malaysia. Indeed, renting a vehicle is easier to go to distant places and can enjoy the views along the way. enjoy your trip 28.16 wow what a very beautiful island.
Hello, thank you for watching from the UK!! Yes, the car has given us the opportunity to see so much more and go further than we ever would have without it, it’s been great and we still haven’t had any problems with the car (touch wood!). It really is such a beautiful island 🤩💖
The island looks beautiful! I loved the look of the food, especially the falafel salads. I think you need to revise the costs for four nights. They looked all wrong to me. Loved the underwater shots. ❤️
Hi Toyah and Murray....wow, very nice. You deserve that break after the long drive and adventures...😍☕ And yes we are not old, just young at heart ...hehe😊
Hi, thank you 😊 we needed a relaxing break and it was wonderful 💖 sometimes we feel old, especially when we are surrounded by young tourists 😂 but we still feel young a lot of the time 💖
Wow, thats a nice resort and definitely will try it out for a local holiday. Thanks for sharing, and looks like you've successfully gone under the UFO radar, until the snorkeling part!😂😂😂
It’s definitely worth going there for a holiday, we were lucky we got there just in time, before the monsoon season started. Snorkelling was like another planet 🪐
You guys did not go islands hopping? The more secluded islands the better the water is, recommend at least go snorkeling trip with small boat, explore the islands surrounding, see the corals, fish, turtles etc
We started to run out of time, we get 90 days at a time in Malaysia and then we have to leave, also monsoon season was about to start and everything was closing, we got there just in time. Maybe we will go back there and see more islands in the future, it was really beautiful 🤩
@@adventureswithtoyahandmurray yes, its monsoon raining season..there are many beautiful islands at the east coast, recommend you visit in April-September 👌 I also recommend you stay at homestay Kampung Penarik, Terengganu. It is closer to Pulau Redang, Pulau Perhentian less than an hour boat ride and you also get to enjoy beautiful beach village scenery
We were a bit shocked 😮 but it was around mid range, there are much more expensive places on the island and we had to search all the apps for the lowest price, in the location we wanted.
You stayed in 5 star. FYI there are many budget hotel, budget Chalet and also Abnb as well which is definitely much cheaper. And you can also take SCUBA diving lesson in Perhentian Island as well.
@@Din5001 Yes, we usually stay in more budget accommodation, but we had been travelling for a long time and at that time we felt like we wanted a bit of luxury and a nice soft bed, it was very comfortable.
@@gregwoolliscroft6255 lucky you, it’s such a beautiful island. There are lots of different types of accommodation to choose from, I can’t remember why we chose the resort, we may have been craving comfort at the time (we had stayed in lots of hard beds and run down accommodation on our road trip), but we usually also prefer less busy places.

So beautiful. Can’t believe I’ve never been there. 😊
It’s really beautiful, we recommend going there, but first you will have to wait until monsoon season is over.

35 ringgit per person. 30 is environmental fees
