The makers of these torture porn movies are determined to dumb down their female victims, no matter what. As soon as one somehow escapes from her shackles, it's only for her to run screaming from room to room searching for the psychopath, so he can bump into her more easily, lop off her limbs and other bits and pieces of her as she continues to scream and gibber. I swear I don't know how these characters are supposed to have passed their driver's test in order to get themselves to the psychopath's slaughterhouse in the first place. It's more a comedy.

@@kklap3219 that is one hell of a surprise actually usually in these kind of films if the girl is being tortured she would usually end up alive and kill the male and if it was a male being tortured he would be either left alive with the female escaping or he would die and the female would leave but in this the guy was way past deserving it and it sucked that everyone died i was hoping the girl and her boyfriend would live and adopt the boy but oh well the guy is like 10 so either he will die or civilisation will find him
When you literally can't feel pain it becomes hard to understand and sympathise with people in pain.
People like the kid usually go through some kind of therapy to help them understand and learn to feel compassion for others in pain.

Allison was dumb for leaving the little girl upstairs while she went looking for Martin.
The house was burning, at that moment she should of prioritized to get the girl out of the house and then could go back in to look for Martin.

There wasn't any buildup to Wendy's character that would have corrupted her to be a psychopathic killer, no circumstances that would have lead up to that point, so I doubt she would have easily given in to their psychotic influence.
The only thing worth looking at here is Daddario's personality.
Especially in the freezer.

How is slaughter not a quick death?
Slaughtering usaly happens pretty fast. There are exeptions because of bad automated slaugherhouse design. But normal human slaugher usaly by either using a Boltshot to the head, a slight open of neck which sounds brutal but the animals go unconsious nearly instand or direct beheading.
Bib Pig slaugherhouses have often bad designes tho using co2 to sufficated alot of pigs which can lead to mass panic of dying pigs.

I think the thing under the sheet in the attic that the guy was afraid of was his father that he killed? So the guy killed his father only to be killed by the boy in the same way so it becomes a cycle

In addition in a small town women keep disappearing and a child too but nobody seems to be investigating, like looking into abandoned buildings etc.
This is based on a true serial killer's story. The pig farm killer. Only there was no kid in the original incident. Just a deranged man who butchered women in his slaughter house. The cattle thing is also true. His mom didn't just slaughter the pet lamb he loved as a kid but also cooked it for dinner.
Man, I'm glad I didn't waste any time watching the full movie as it would have just pissed me off with an ending like that. It could have somewhat worked if Martin started killing the girls in the beginning as like a protégé and then the effigy on the wall has a supernatural element to it or something idk. There were so many other options for an outcome WAY better than this.

Egad, what a bloody awful, depressing movie. There's plenty of plot holes, but the biggest one has to be how a man can kidnap and kill countless women from the surrounding area for years and never be caught. He wasn't kidnapping transients passing through, he was kidnapping working members of his own community. You'd think someone would notice that, and sooner or later the FBI would be called in. But I guess with such an incompetent police force, I shouldn't be surprised! (Huge holes in the couple's bodies with knives scattered all around them - even with a fire, there would still be plenty of evidence left. Also, the boy has been missing for years and a newcomer discovers him almost immediately. No one else who lives in town ever noticed him staring out the window? So many more things to comment on, lol!)

I think this is the best way to watch horror movies, if don’t want the jump scares, and can handle the abstract aspect of descriptive horror.

What a pointless, terrible movie. I think it's trying to make some kind of point about the cycle of violence, but at least from the way this video presents it, it mostly looks like pointless cruelty and violence at the end of the torture porn gore craze. At least Saw and Final Destination are fun to watch.
