I totally understand that, it's less that they don't stick to the books more that they are changing the lore for no reason. Like why was there a battle between Solamnia and Istar? Or making Istar a "magical empire" when they were all about the church God and prosecuting magic.
@@JustGoodEnough my first player was like I want to play a Draconian and be a Knight of Solamnia, me you can't do that, player in the book it doesn't say there are any race requirements to be a Knight of Solamnia.
So that's a different story, that's why you have session 0 to set expectations. But it is your world after all so you can choose to add all the races from the other worlds and settings. Or you can stay true to the Krynn lore, up to you and your table. For me it's more the unnecessary change of lore, like why change things for now reason if you could have more easily just added to existing lore?
I remember fighting these dudes during the old SSI computer games. Champions of Krynn, Death Knights of Krynn, and the Dark Queen of Krynn. Good times.
what if the draconians fought the martians from war of the worlds they would be massacred thats what or used as food for the martians handling machines that capture humans also the heat ray weapons would melt them quickly dragons would be wiped out by the aliens really the dragons would just be something that gets in the martians way for the conquest of the planet draconlance takes place on
Thank you sir, you guys kept this world alive and updated for so many years, and I am so happy I can in a small part spread the Dragonlance Nexus magic around.
This will be the last D&D book I buy so disappointed with WotC failing to stick to the Dragonlance novels.
