✔️Disclaimer: We are a developing country and have all-class people and enthusiasts living. For some Rs1000 is a budget, for some it may be 3k or up to 5k. For many, it might be 20k to 50k or more, if you have excellent purchasing power, incredible!! I still consider up to the 5k mark segment as a budget iems and headphones. Beyond that, even those might be expensive for me.
✔️Disclaimer: Guys, this is for every hp/iem or earphone and not specific to this only:-There's always a deviation in the frequency response as you increase the volume. More volume either gives you more bass or more treble in some cases. Sound signature can differ from one to another depending upon your source device, DAC, audio format, and compression 🙏
✔️Audio equipment sounds best when they get warm, so give a little time to your DAC and Amp for a warm-up. You will surely hear the changes in your audio.
🔴Tips: 👇
✔️Always try to use some good EQ app like wavelet (for android) or Dolby Atmos on your mobile in case you are not getting the sound you want. ✔️Getting deep bass: always choose accurate-sized ear tips for your ear. Foam ear tips give you the BEST isolation and therefore best bass response.
✔️Always listen on low to mid volumes so that your eardrums have a long run to sense and judge the high frequencies spectrum.
✔️DAC doesn't always guarantee to produce a heavenly sound to you, sometimes it makes the audio worst (especially the bad ones)
✔️Sometimes an aftermarket cable can improve the sound quality of your iems. But it's not completely true.
✔️ multi-driver earphones do not always sound super good, sometimes a single full-range dynamic driver creates wonder in your music experience.
✔️One iem/hp/earphone is not always suited for every music genre ✔️Expensive gear (exceptions are there) does not always give you the best experience.

Hi Dinesh, I shall wait for the Tanchjim One DSP, about to be launched. The hifi-go had interesting description on it how the non-dsp regular one is tuned to harman curve and the DSP one is more Tanchjim balanced curve. Btw, i stumbled on a post by a tuner of LEgato 7hz at Ian Fann's RUclips channel. He was responding to someone enquiring about ideal eartip to use and his reply was this: "Hi, I am the co-tuner of Legato. When we tuned the Legato, we paid careful attention matching ithe eartips. The stock eartip are what we consider a "middle-ground". Depending on how listener's preferences, they may want to use Moondrop Spring Tips or SoftEar UC for a cleaner, tighter bass with slight vocal emphasis. For a more satisfying bass resonance, I recommend Tanchjim T-APB 300B eartip. For more treble and top-end extension, I recommend TRI Clarion eartip.
In summary:
For a balance tone - stock
For vocal and tighter bass - Moondrop Spring Tip or SoftEars UC
For more bass rumble without choking the mid-bass - Tanchjim T-APB 300B
For more treble extension and clarity - TRI Clarion"
Interesting, na? I am thinking of getting 2 (of those 3 recos) and seein how my sounds change in Legato and EA500. If i get, I shall drop in a feedback here. Btw, got the cable with mic and it's working fine. It's not Tripownie C8 as that was just cables, no mic. Got the tropownie Grace with mike (from concept kart) - in case someone is looking for a cable with a mike for an IEM.

Hi sir, i am looking for a good iem under 2k i need an allrounder iem for daily use with good passive noise cancellation and i have one more doubt . I have a basic phone which is around 7k is it necessary for me to buy a dac to use iem at it's best level.
see if you like to have forward vocals and treble, can compromise with a little bass then go with Salnotes zero. If you want an overall peppy sound then go with Tangzu waner sg. Want a little bass and an open kind of sound then truthear hola.

dongle dac either work with type c or with lightning. For both you need to buy separate dongles or you can buy a USB portable dac that has connectivity for both. That may cost you about 5k INR.
2,000 rs me best neutral bass earphones/IEMs btaiye. Mujhe neutral with slight bass boost pasand hai. mostly metal/rock songs sunta hu. coming from JBL cs100si and KZ D-fi. KZ D-fi badhiya thhe but bass nahi thhi so return kr diye.

it is slightly difficult to carry bass boost for a neutral iem ( no one loves it in real ) that must have just an adequate bass. Like Salnotes zero , chu is on the balanced side but just lacks sub bass with a little margin.

I Really appreciate your knowledge of sound and experience of different headphones/iems. I bought a 7hz salnotes its bass was tight and very accurate but the vocals and other things was very shirl/sharp for me. I have a JBL t500, can you recomend any IEM/headphones which have a sound signature similar to JBL t500. I am in NO WAY saying that t500 is better than 7hz I just needed something similar to t500.
