Please stop calling Dave The Diver (DTD) an indie game. I don't know who started this, but pixel graphics alone don't make a game an indie game. Mintrocket, the studio that created DTD has 30 team members, which makes them a AA studio. On top of that, they are a division of Nexon. Nexons is an $18 billion USD company! In addition, the CEO of Mintrocket himself stated that they are not an indie studio. It’s unfair to all the other indie studios to call DTD an indie game. And don't get me wrong, DTD is a good game, nothing against the game or studio.
I would add Lightyear Frontier into the list. It is in early access but it's a farming game that, to me, stands out. You crash on another planet with your mech and start living your peaceful life. The game has 0 combat and the mech is your main tool for mobility and farming. I find it VERY relaxing, super cozy and it already has multiplayer! I already went through the content that came with the first release into early access and I CANNOT wait for what's to come! Lightyear Frontier has a demo, which convinced me to get the game and I can only recommend people try the demo before deciding to purchase the game or not!
I want to vouch for Nine Sols. Absolutely incredible game, my favorite since I've played Ori. (Hollow knight was great as well, but because of the art, I liked Ori more.)
@@kryptomac101 frame drops is one thing, but I see a ton of people saying it freezes and crashes their Deck. That’s what’s stopped me from buying it. Maybe by release they will have it working 🤞
@@AZ23MJ yeah better to wait a few months of patches to play it comfortably on SD. As an alternative, you can play it through Geforce now - it is much more playable on SD.

30 people sounds pretty indie to me
@@theoldblood3804his not talking about 30 people he's talking about investment they got from a million dollar company
And TBH it doesn't really uses pixel graphics, most of what you see are polygons.
Nine sols is my favourite metroidvania since hollow knight

I agree. Nine Sols is up there with HK and Ori. The story, gameplay, and art are all top notch
The outro music is so good. What’s it from?
Please check out our upcoming game as well! Ruffy and the Riverside 😃🙌
I want to play No Rest For The Wicked, but I only have a Steam Deck and I’ve heard it doesn’t work well on it - but you’re saying it does?
It works but as I said, I am getting some fps drop.
