Translation, the US Economy is in a recession but the current administration will never allow them to declare an official one.

    Narratives:
    It's a soft landing
    then
    It's a selective recession
    Next
    It's a recession
    and eventually and maybe
    Hard landing

We been in a recession since 2022. Take a look around you today. We all know how we got here today from the pandemic lockdowns. If it wasn’t for this. We wouldn’t have to worry.

So at least 70%of the consumers are fine or doing better than before while the bottom 20% and especially 10% are having big difficulties. Now the question is what party drags the other on its side.

That's an insane point when its clear income has not matched inflation. People have experienced asset value growth, but that is not liquid and is dependent upon consumer sentiment. %70 of people are not richer, they simply THINK they are.
