When you said the banded bucklings were doing fine I was like hearing that sound and thinking that does not sound fine to me! why they sound like that? And then I remembered that there’s pigs in there and that is the squealing of the pigs not the goats. 😂
I agree with the heat being a problem- it even reduces milk production and/or changes the flavor in humans too! Anytime you change herd dynamics it's stressful- I wouldn't see it as a failure, considering the circumstances I think they did really well.🧡🙂🐐

I can tell just by comparing the requirements from the 305 test that others are doing that it's much easier to achieve then the one day milk test. Some goats aren't even putting 2 lbs in per milking, and they are projected to pass. So obviously your girls will blow away the 305 day test. Your girls are beautiful and fabulous milkers! I have every confidence in them! Thank you for all the great videos!

They may not have gotten their milk stars but they did absolutely fabulous! There were so many things that could have caused them not to reach their milk stars, but even so they did exceptionally well you should be very very pleased which I'm quite sure you are. They're all lovely ladies and I just cannot wait to see what the future holds for them and their next kidding season!

You got some VERY close numbers on your girls, Crystal! Next year will be the charm -- testing in April, when it's not so hot, etc. All the does look wonderful. They are producing well, and not losing weight or going out of condition. A great indication that you are doing everything right : ) Dawn really looks good. Like you, I was concerned she would start going downhill after her diagnosis-- and she's beautiful! I would be really tempted to breed her again in October, especially if she maintains her condition. Those scores are very good & you should be proud. Congratulations -- next year will be even better!

I know NOTHING about goats or milk productions... other than what i have learned from your channel. There was a whole lot of birthing going on this year, as you showed. And with that comes a lot of care and prep for those you are keeping and those going to new homes. New crazy goats trying to acclimate. I appears that you had super good test results... considering. I would think that some of the deficits would be very obtainable on the next test for some.... now that you can laser focus on the cream of the crop. Thanks for bringing us all that you do.
