Love how Emily is so knowledgeable about the goat's 👏💖 great video Crystal and Co
Crystal, you're children are so smart and loving...You and your husband are doing a great job...God bless❤
Oh my Crystal, what a little chatterbox Emily is! God love her! She knows her stuff!!!
I have no words to describe this overload cuteness Crystal you are an incredible shepherd I love your work 💕✝️🇺🇸 and I am glad to say that Emily has one of the best mommy in the world she is learning everything from you
You are too sweet!
@@BlueCactusDairyGoats you are also sweet 💕
Aww, Emily is so well spoken. You have great kids. Human kids lol.
You completely right Emily a nice girl
I agree completely. Emily is extremely well spoken for a person so young. And, add to that the fact that it is very difficult to maintain organized speech without a lot of gaps and hesitation when you are performing a physical function, particularly one as complex as milking the goat.
You really should be proud of your daughter. I have always urged my daughter to work on her ability to communicate orally. And over the years she has become really good at it.
But it’s awfully hard for a kid as young as Emily to reach the degree of sophistication that Emily displays. She is developing a skill that will be worth it’s weight in gold regardless of the career path that she takes over the long run.
I see lodi i click
Literally me when I saw the title
I can't tell you how much Little Miss Lodi makes me smile. I just love Lodi and Cassie! Fun goats indeed!
I nearly spit my coffee out at Cassie sliding to a halt on the wooden stand-that was hilarious!
Lol
Lodi is going to be herd queen someday
I absolutely love watchin' your family with your goats, such passion from you all. Blessings! :)
Good morning. Love watching your family with the goats. Also see "Zoro" on Weedem' and Reep. He's fine.
Another super video thanks for sharing
Lodi is definitely my favorite! Don't take any crap girl.
For sure! An adorable little pill!
Those two little ones are so cute. I was so afraid Lodi was going to hurt her neck fighting with Tanzi. I just love Lodi she is my favorite one. My goodness Cassie I thought was going to slide right off of the other side lol. I laughed so hard.
Lol!
Lodi is going to let everyone know who the boss is... just wait!😂
I have no doubts! 😳
Lodi says to Val & Becky: "I'm a big girl now, future herd queen and currently top mean girl to you all and btw, on Wednesdays we wear pink!"
🤣🤣🤣
Giiirrrrllll! Snap!
Thanks Emily! Loved hearing you talk about the goats - you're a great lil presenter! I especially enjoyed learning about Cassie's name - Cute lil star goat
Geezy Pete's! Lodi was getting her head cracked hard! You did your best trying to make her stop but that girl knows her limits and she had not reached them yet 😂😂
Lol! She is a pill, man.
i am so impressed with Emily she is a junior Mom knows her does loves her flock and sounds like a little professor, i am sure when she grows up and gets married she too will be a Queen of the goats just like Crystal, so nice to see the passion passed down to your own next in line
🤗
Your family and goat farm are AWESOME! I have been following your family for about a year and look forward to new vids. Wonderful job!
Really like the way you explain things Your children are adorable Lodi is so funny
Muy bendecido dia , me encanta ver tu plataforma de tus chiva y las bebes!!! son una familia muy trabajadora y que nos hables de cada unas de tus. chivitas
Love your videos. Don't plan on having any goats I'm to old, but still enjoy seeing them grow. God bless you from Michigan
WOW it's amazing how they know where to go wherever it's there turn
Emily, nice job introducing the does; their personality, breeding, history, and the bit about the bonding... very impressive and well done !
Emily, you did a GREAT job telling us about the does! Chip off the the ole block for sure.....you’ll have to ask mom what that means.🤗
Emily did so awesome!! Your mini me! 👩👧
Buenos Dias Goat Farmers! Love watching your "mini you" explain things regarding milking. Em does a wonderful job. Looks/sounds just like you. Lodi "Look what I can do" for President 2020 reminds me of a little chihuahua standing her ground against a Doberman. Big dog attitude in a little dogs body. Homie don't play that! Love her. Another cool video!
Wow Abeline looks like a different goat all grown up and shaved. ☺
Also can't wait to see what's coming with Dawn.
Look out: Cassie came in for a landing !! 💓
Boy she's like her momma for sure your a very good teacher
Wow, great job explaining all of the does Emily. Very well spoken. Love this... Family time. Lodi is too funny...
Lodi 😂 that face she makes with her ears cocked 😆 I am going to show you 😠 they are entertaining! I hope the introductions, though a little crazy work out for ya 👍😎❤️
Emily did a great job!
Nice ur goats💪💪
Love this video! I loved hearing about Abilene and hearing from Emily. I love to hear that info about your herd; I use it to mull out my future Blue Cactus purchases 😆😆. I really want a doe out of Cami (or maybe Casi for the moonspots) due to their temperaments. But you were selling me on Abilene as well!
Lol! I am very excited to see Abeline mature!
Some does have a really huge udder but not a lot of milk in it, you said. Just like women! I have a friend who is very large busted, but when it came time to nurse? Nothing! I, on the other hand, am very small busted, and I had SO MUCH MILK. But only on one side. Huh? Nature is a marvel. I love your channel.
My wether Benji is the definition of that ornery attitude.
On second he's cuddling and loving on the other goats and the next minute he's full charge bunting into the others.
I'm so glad to see everyone doing well!
Especially the seven crazies.
Love Lodi she really is a punk 😂 she’ll definitely be heard boss one day if she isn’t already
She hasn't earned it yet but I have no doubts she will be! She don't take any crap from ANY goat lol.
Our Alpines bucks are the same they will get scars. I know how you feel never good to do it but it needs to be done. We don’t like horns. Great video. I have to get some men’s line of our goat milk beauty products made up for Father’s Day so if anyone is looking for handmade goat milk beauty products let me know. Our men’s line are Shampoo, soap, lotion. For now. Thank You for sharing. Stay safe everyone. God Bless
Good morning Crystal and family.
Good morning ☀️
Good video mam amazing fight vs lodi
Hello good morning
Emily is quite talented at public speaking! I am impressed with her!
It would be cute to make Goats towels for merch
Your daughter is so well spoken and obviously loves her life!
I am very lucky to have this special little girl as my daughter!
Hi Crystal! You are wonderful woman and I am sure you will be able to help me. I have a goat, Rebecca and this morning she doesn't eat and sleep anymore. I think she's sick... and I love her so much 😢 P.S Sorry for the mistakes . I used Google translate
Oh no! Can you check her temperature.
💕💕
Little Miss Lodi to the herd: “I may be small of stature but I got a Big Girl Attitude so you all best get your big girl panties on cause this lady means business!!”..............and the herd responds: “She ‘s still a pill but she sure got THAT right” !!!
Yes! 🤣
In the Uk we call goats Nannies and Billies
I have heard them called that as well :)
When do you think you will add Dreamer and Maybelline with the milking does? Love your herd they are all gorgeous! 😍
Not sure just yet. They have to be big enough they cant get through the doe pen fence.
Good job, Emily, you know those goats just like your Mom does! I was a little worried about Lodi, for a second she looked a little wobbled...but she was not backing down for nothing!
She is something else that girl.
Hi Crystal! Good video as usual. I love Lodi's spirit, and she's grown so much; it wasn't that long ago that she was so little, she could get out through the fence. Are you thinking about soap yet? Please let me know how the molds I sent you work out. Thanks again for the video!
I have been itching to make soap!! Just been so busy I havent had the time just yet. I plan to go at the soaps hard after cheese making season :). I cant wait to try your molds!
Hey milk bath a beauty treatment lol
Crystal, I gotta say I never understood what you meant by your goats being wide, until I saw them on some other farms with the other goats. They are some wide loads in comparison! wow! Can't wait till the day I'm ready to start my herd, I will most definitely be waiting to grab some babies from your lines!
Welcome, it's a very beautiful barn.
🐐💕🐐
Where can we see zorro the buck that went to weed em and reap?
You can see him on the weed em and reap channel! He's doing perfectly fine!
You live in Goat Heaven! I almost ready. We finally got the chickens up and running so next is goats. I have been researching and shopping but I think it's going to have to be next year. I have recently learned about Johnes disease. Do you know much about it and do you test your heard for it? Thanks!
I'm early today
I swear, Lodi should really be named Scrappy.
Lol
Uh oh. Somebody wasn't paying attention and missed the milk pot.
Lol
Who are your top milk producing does?
Lacy, Cami, Elsa, May, Mayo, and Maddie.
I've always wondered what is all in your scratch that you feed them when they're on the stand
Goat protein pellets with a small amount of cracked corn.
When do you tattoo the goats you keep? I love Abilene, she is so pretty and Lodi too
I really need to do that soon!
Mashallah beautiful gods
Your daughter could pass for you on the phone. 😁
If you keep Maddie’s little doe you should name her Moss
0:07 Good morning goat lovers, watch me milk a goat without a pale. Lol
I am old and would love to retire with goats and chickens and maybe a couple pigs. I am not a huge chicken person but they are easy but where I live we need a barn it’s cold here in Minnesota. Looking for property as we speak
Next year will you retain more kids to build the herd? If so what's your herd size plans now? Awhile back I think you wanted somewhere between 15 to 20 does? Just curious.
I wanted 25 (30) does and 5 bucks. I have 6 bucks now though :). To retain any we will have to make some cuts somewhere. We will just have to see :)
I never notice you cleaning the udders. Does someone else do that before the goat comes up?
Is there a way to send you a picture? I just did my first disbudding on 2 buckling. I’ve watched videos and reached out to an ag forum and your name came up as the expert to talk with
You can email me. bluecactusgoats@hotmail.com
Curious to know if you ever worry if Abilene will have fertility issues like her mother Anna? I believe I heard your husband mentioning not wanting to have bad genes in your herd in your previous vids! 💛 Viewer from Minnesota!
I am not concerned with it. I know the breeders and lineage of Anna. Good lines that produce! I think Anna was just allowed to gain too much weight and wasnt bred early enough. It's very hard to get weight off a doe once it happens.
Hi! If Val's 2 girls do end up being big enough to be bred in October, do you have a companion for Maddie's little girl?
We will have wethers.
I have never been around goats. We had cows. Do they hurt each other at times?
Hi crystal. I love your goats how many do you have ? I see thousands. Man the money on their food must be expensive. And, what type of chicken do you own? How much does it cost for buying food for all your animals? I would like to know. BTW Good morning and love from the world 😅.
I think they have 25 does and 6 bucks :) still a lot of goaties!
I try not to count them or the price of feed 🤣🤣🤣
@@BlueCactusDairyGoats Ha! I get it! Goats are expensive, so we just kinda have to run the marathon blindfolded! lol!
There is one that was being milked that looks ready to kid. Do you not let them dry up before they kid?
She does not gave any pregnant goats right now. They have all already kidded for the season. She absolutely dries them up before she breeds them again.
You must be talking about Big Montana (Sky). She is just over weight lol
@@BlueCactusDairyGoats - Sky reminds me of Maybel...their girth looks the same as right before kidding. Has the same sway when she walks. :-)
LOL. I'll bet that is the one. :)
Explain jumpstart
How many goats are you currently milking?
15
@@BlueCactusDairyGoats oh ty you take very good care of them
How do goats not get brain damage from all that headbutting, I swear.
Also I wonder if when udders look big but are deceptively meaty it's akin to larger breasts in humans? Just a big ol udder.
Lol. They have hard heads for sure!! Not sure but a meaty udder isnt a good thing!
Why do some of the goats look like they could still be pregnant?
At 5:22 way too rough with her on the uder
Nope
Breed name plz
Nigerian Dwarf
