Mixing all the milk together with all the different colostrum is probably a really good way to give them antibodies to anything the herd may have encountered. So many different antibodies.
Hi Crystal I can see the joy on your face. Wow milking, feed the bottle babies and mid wife, for sure you can do it all! For sure you can do it full time. Thank God for The Goat family
Crystal, you are some lady. You can do it all and never have a hair out of place! I admire you. You raised/raising beautiful, well mannered children, act as midwife for the goats, bottle feed babies and keep everything running smoothly. You have a great partner, but you make things happen. Congrats on the adorable baby goats and hang tough lady.
Becky is doing awesome!! TLC is all them newbie goats need..:-) Lodi doesn’t give up she still tries to push through the fence. Hahaha and Val is learning the herd dynamics. Roxy and her crew are probably watching the rest and in time they all will be calm and tamed. Keep it up and they all will be tame to take to show and be milked in the future..:-) Love the baby time I totally was in love and jealous. But it put a smile on my face hahaha
We had Holstein and Jersey milk cows. We had 3 milk machines and anywhere between 25 - 35 milking at a time. My brother used to milk one or two to build up his forearms for baseball season. Keep up the videos and the exercise 🤗
Stay safe.with the virus covet 19 2020, Thankyou for all you do at work! And on the farm keep your family safe god bless love the videos and your kids and the goat kids!
Such a pleasure to sit down, put my feet up, relax and forget about the day, watching these adorable little goats. I was so happy when the one little one made the jump up on to your lap after so many tries!
It never ceases to amaze me just how extensive your knowledge is. It's amazing. Always binge watch and spend weekend afternoons learning to love these goats even more!
ALL THOSE BABIES!!!!! How do you deal with all the cuteness overload!!! I would be in my glee to sit there all day with those babies jumping over me, nibbling on me, and loving me. Spending a few days on your farm would be a dream come true!!!! You have paradise there!!!
Lily enjoying her snacks, she’s munching so loud. I’ve been worried about Dawn and some had said she had delivered and I’m thinking they might be seeing older pictures. Take care; those are some really cute Kids.🥰
We posted pics of the kids on the community tab and story tab. She had triplets. Two boys and a doe. Of course the doe is a keeper :) She is doing very well!
Yes crystal that would definitely be my happy place u are so lucky I really can't wait to get my stuff together,I was thinking of doing same type of pens Dan made I just worried about the cyote's and fisher cats, but I'm working on plan. Can't wait hopefully when I get it done I can buy my first two goats from u and my two other from c &j funny farm there all so pretty and babies are adorable God bless🙏🙏🎂💞 can't wait to see more babies.
My goodness I commend you for what you're doing. I 100% understand, support and know why you separate moms and babies. I just had my very first goat kidding this past Friday and I just can't imagine taking my girls babies from her. This was hers and my first go with babies and she is just the absolute best mom! I let her out everyday and let her graze in my yard (that started she decided she was just over the rest of her herd about 4 weeks pre kidding) and everyday she literally comes to my door screaming, with her babies in tow, and as soon as I walk out to them, she pushes her head on my leg for pets, gives her babies a good once over and walks away leaving me to babysit while she goes and has me time grazing 🤦🏻♀️🤣 I'm honored but also know exactly where I stand with her and that my only job is serve at the pleasure of Queen Penny 😏🤣🤷🏻♀️
I saw Lodi "Look what I can do" checking the fence for weaknesses again. She's plotting. I have to admit, my back end is a mess too! Not in that way but in the that song, "Omg Becky! Just look at her butt!" type song mess tee hee. Stay strong/healthy and keep up the great videos!!! So cute! Love to see those tails wag! So happy!
Love you, your family & your goats. We live in Queensland, Australia & if it wasn’t so cold where you live we would of loved to move to your farm. (I am sure you wanted a 56yo & her 14yo daughter living with you). I am just unsure about taking babies away from mums as soon as they have them. I sort of understand it but still feel sad for the mums after all the effort of labour. The way you kiss & care for your goats is so beautiful. Thoroughly enjoy your videos. 😘😘🥳🥰
I'm sneaky peek watching this at 2.44am when hubby is asleep. We will watch it with the teenagers tonight. Great vlog cheers thanks for sharing your journey.
Thank you so much for all the information on the Nigerian goats! My doe started licking and I remembered you saying it was a sign of labor because of you she successfully had 2 does! Thank you so much for your informative videos and love for these sweet babies!
I’m amazed by how much less your Nigerian babies consume to my alpine babies. 20oz per kid. They are too cute. We have 13 kids right now waiting on one doe most likely kid tomorrow. And one more still to go. Thank You for sharing. Stay safe.
Hi Crystal! Good video, as always. I'm really glad to see the progress with Becky ... it gives me hope that the new does will come around. Love the babies ... they definitely need the kid bar! Take good care and stay safe through the storm.
Great job Crystal with Becky can't wait to see other goats come into their own too! You are such a good milker thanks for sharing you fun family with us. Hugs from Minnesota
😘😉You are so ADORABLE!!!! You remind me of my daughter😄 She just had a baby girl (human) Feb. 13, 2020, the way you talk about "your babies" is so similar to my daughter talking about her baby. LIKE I SAID YOU ARE ADORABLE, I JUST LOVE YA!! I bet your momma just love's you so much, I know if I was your momma I would. God Bless you and ALL your babies. All my love Miss Deb👩🦳
The does are looking good....you have your hands full now; about to get super busy. The kids are beautiful, Crystal! Have the kids had their first immunizations? Wishing Schillie an easy labor.
This little babies we borderline hangry! Love watching them eat and their little tails wagging. You are definitely I your happy place. I so hope you get the ability to work from home soon. Th His is definitely my favorite time of year. Seeing all the barns aids being born then watching them grow. Nice ratio of doelings/bucklings. Can't wait to see the next batch of kids!
I kinda chuckle to myself when you talk about a kid ruining an udder. Mother of 5 that nursed all 5, my boobs will never be the same either. lol Becky is doin' amazing, slow and steady wins the race. :)
I'm so glad shes still alright and her legs are under her. Soooooo much cuteness 🤗. Thank yall for everything you do. Poor Mr. D cant get into the cheese, you know by now about a man and his stomach🤣😂. Tried to help you out🤗.
Becky..shows what paitence and LOVE can do. It takes time to gain trust.. She will learn ..kindness..you dont push her..you kinda let her think it through.. Its positive experiences..i think becky will someday come around..almost overnight shes gonna breathe a sigh of relief and chill out. You are awesome.. You can tell you would rather get results by being kind and paitent than force them ..where they do it because they WANT. To not have to. To actully take more time because it pays off in the long run to you. You dont just say i give up too much work..you say..ima gonba love the shit outta this goat..i bought her because i saw potential..as you said wasent handled alot..goat crack like horse sweet feed..shes going to figure out..all the other goats petted on get crack..mm ok ..well..damn..me TOO. Lol.poor val.lol
I love watching the baby’s interacting and playing they so funny and also the cuties factor of all them baby’s together is just about on a measurable scale when you add more there will be no way to measure the cuties factor I just love it they make me happy I could watch animals all day but especially baby’s
"This is my happy place" no better words have ever been spoken! Been following all the videos, so excited to see everything work out as well as it did with May, I could totally feel your panic and emotions when it was over. We all dread problems with kidding but seeing how you dealt with it hopefully helps all of us who raise these amazing animals.
I'm lucky enough that my fence neighbor drops his kids earlier, he brought me some fresh soft cheese Tuesday. I think he is addicted to monkey bread I make as a reciprocating gift lol!
You want to go look at Weideman briefs as set up for their milking station and maybe you can build you one like that that's very cool. I love you and all your goats
I cant wait to get some goats and start my own milking and breeding here in Australia, do you think the mini goats are better then the bigger breeds for milking?
We are expecting our first set of kids any day. I have been doing so much research on how to take care of the kids after they are born. I would like to know your routine . My husband said ask Crystal she is so smart. We are both new to this so we have been watching your channel for guidance. Thank you!
Mixing all the milk together with all the different colostrum is probably a really good way to give them antibodies to anything the herd may have encountered. So many different antibodies.

I’ve really enjoyed watching your channel. I knew nothing at all about goats before I started watching. I’ve learned a lot.

What are going to name the all the babies? I love to come and stay help bottle feed them. Love watching the video and babies
They're not keeping most of them so no real reason to name them.
