I hope you all are doing well and staying safe during this crisis.
To some extent this crisis kills my vibes. I’m even afraid to go to the grocery store but I have faith in God and this too shall pass where "hopefully"everything will go back to normal. I have so many great recipes coming soon, stay tune. I’m just keeping it fairly simple for now. I appreciate the love and support. Bless!

Just found this video. Great work. Love bulgar porridge. Haven't had it in a while tho. One thing I need to point out though, it is best to add vanilla after the pot is removed from the heat. Boiling diminishes the flavor.
Omg....I just put some vulgar to soak to make my porridge in the morning and just to come on here and see you posted your recipe 2 hours ago😂😂😂😂....I love it.

I had a bunch of bulgur in my cupboard I didn't really know what to do with it.( I do a lot of baking and I had bought it for some whole grain bread).

Making it now
Awesome! I would love to know how it turned out.
Do I need to use cornstarch. Diabetics avoid the starch thing you know. If not is there a substitute. Am sitting here with bulgar ready to cook and now am stuck.
No cornstarch needed, I used oats that I blend with milk and then pour into the pot. After constantly stirring and as the oats mixture cooks it will thicken the porridge.
How'd u do that?🤔 I tried, but It took long time untill its soft
I’m not quite sure what went wrong however bulgur doesn’t take that long to cook/ soften. The porridge will have that grainy taste however the grains should be soft. If the grainy taste is the issue you can actually blend the bulgur once cook/ tender along with the oats to make it a bit more refine.
There are different variations (fine to course) that will affect cooking time.
What kind of oats did you use? Can quick oats be used? I am making this for my breakfast tommrow.
